Raphaela and Magdalena? (+ a couple of other crushes)

These are two of my favourites right now - do you think they make good sisters? I’m not sure - are they too tied to different cultures/languages to be used, and especially used together?

Does [name_f]Raphaela[/name_f] sound more like rah-FYE-ella or rah-[name_f]FAY[/name_f]-ella to you? The sounds are sort of smushy/ambiguous to me so I’m not certain of either.

Some more that I’m thinking a lot about right now are [name_f]Jessa[/name_f], [name_f]Petra[/name_f], [name_f]Octavia[/name_f], [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Phaedra[/name_f]. I’m just not convinced any of them go particularly well with my usual style although they have been on my list in the past; my consistent favourites are more along the lines of [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]/[name_f]Eilidh[/name_f]/[name_f]Fenella[/name_f]/[name_f]Imogen[/name_f]/[name_f]Agnes[/name_f]/[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think they’re drastically different styles, or can you seem them working?

[name_f]Raphaela[/name_f] is absolutely stunning. I imagine her as a fiery, strong-willed woman with a wicked sense of humor. It’s far too underused. I pronounce it with the long “i” sound.

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think they make good sisters? Yes, I think they’d be great as sisters, and I don’t think they’re too culturely different at all.
I say rah-[name_f]FAY[/name_f]-ella
[name_f]Jessa[/name_f], [name_f]Petra[/name_f], [name_f]Octavia[/name_f], [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]- I think all of them go well with your list expect [name_f]Jessa[/name_f], but if it was a nn for [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f] it would be perfect on your list.
[name_f]Phaedra[/name_f] is the only one that I think doesn’t go with your sibset, since your list is more classic and [name_f]Phaedra[/name_f] is just out of place and really bold next to the others.
