Raphina

Today I watched the Irish 2016 film [name_m]Sing[/name_m] [name_m]Street[/name_m]. I thought it was absolutely smashing and it became one of my all-time favourites. I cannot recommend it enough, watch it! You will not be disappointed.
The female protagonist, played by [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_m]Boynton[/name_m], was called Raphina. I have never heard this name before and have tried to search for its history and meaning, with no result. Therefore, I ask you if you know anything about the name?
Also, what do you think about it? What middle name would you match it with?

Thanks!

I’ve come across the names Raffinee and Raffin which apparently mean raven. There’s also Rafin, an Arabic name meaning highly praised. It could also come from from ‘raphis’ an old Greek word meaning to sew. Potentially, it could be a feminine variation of [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] maybe .

It has a pleasant and interesting sound. I quite like it
