My house is covered in maps, and I often find myself peering at them in search of a new names. I often find ones that feel more like potential girls names to me, rather than boys names, so I’d love to see what places you all think make great options for boys names! Thanks

I’ve always thought [name_m]Quito[/name_m] would be a cool boys’ name! I don’t know how Ecuadorians would feel about it, which is definitely something to take into account, but I think it’s got such a cool sound!
I also love American city names for boys, though they vary in popularity- like [name_u]Memphis[/name_u], [name_u]Denver[/name_u], [name_u]Dallas[/name_u], [name_m]Boston[/name_m], [name_u]Salem[/name_u], [name_m]Portland[/name_m], [name_u]Charleston[/name_u], [name_m]Bronx[/name_m], and [name_m]Trenton[/name_m]. Of other places, I think [name_m]Oslo[/name_m], [name_m]Dublin[/name_m], and [name_m]Quebec[/name_m] sound super cool!
I’ve never been to most of these places, so I’m not sure what they’re like in real life, but as names I think they’re cool!

I completely agree. I actually had a female friend named [name_u]Aspen[/name_u]. One day in highschool the inevitable single-syllable nickname slipped out… not a good day
