Such a handsome name and Rafa/Rafi would be adorable nicknames [name_u]Adrian[/name_u] – I’m neutral on this, but see the appeal. I like how strong it sounds while not feeling overly masculine [name_u]Axel[/name_u] – Not my cup of tea, I’ve always preferred [name_u]Alex[/name_u] [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] – Love!! Tristan - 10 -my favourite!! It has a magical quality! Leone -6 - I find it a bit tricky to say but i think that’s just because I’m unfamiliar with it. I think it could definitely grow on me because i like the look of it Mattia-7 -i quite like the sound and feel Luca- 8 -bright and cute Rafael -9 - elegant and lovely Adrian -7 -this has charm and a solid feel Axel -7 - sharp and rugged Sasha -8 -it’s grown on me recently. Soft and cool Isa - 7 - sleek and distinct Ismail - 6 -I don’t mind it
Kan/Kaan -6 -not my style but it does have a cool sound
[name_u]Tristan[/name_u]: 9 - I think this name is handsome and I like the connection to the Arthurian legends, including the classic tale of [name_u]Tristan[/name_u] and [name_f]Isolde[/name_f].
[name_u]Leone[/name_u] (Leh-oh-neh): 7 - not my style, but it feels like a strong and refined name.
[name_u]Mattia[/name_u] (Mah-tee-ah): 9 - I adore this Italian classic, gentle yet joyful.
[name_u]Luca[/name_u]: 8 - sweet, classic, easy to pronounce and international.
[name_m]Rafael[/name_m]: 9 - another of my favorite! I see it as a timeless classic and an international name at the same time. A great combination in my opinion.
[name_u]Adrian[/name_u] (Ah-dree-ahn): 8 - a solid name that is known of, but not overly popular. I like the connection to the Adriatic [name_u]Sea[/name_u], makes it a nature name as well.
[name_u]Axel[/name_u]: 7 - a good name, just not my style.
[name_u]Sasha[/name_u]: 6 - same explanation as [name_u]Axel[/name_u], but I don’t like the sound of it as much.
[name_u]Isa[/name_u] (Ee-sah): 4 - I don’t like this one for a boy, but that might be because I am a [name_u]French[/name_u] speaker and [name_u]Isa[/name_u] is a common diminutive for Isabella/Isabelle where I live. Doesn’t mean it’s not a beautiful name.
[name_m]Ismail[/name_m] (Ee-smah-eel): 7 - love the sound. Exotic and gentle.
Kan/Kaan (Kahn): 5 - this one is new for me. I prefer names with 2 or 3 syllables, but that’s very personal.
In order of how much I like them…
[name_u]Luca[/name_u]: this gives me beach vibes. I can picture it on both a quiet, dark haired kid and a loud, blonde kid. I love this name and it is one I considered using for a long time. 9.5/10
[name_u]Mattia[/name_u]: I like this one a lot too. It has the same feel as [name_u]Luca[/name_u]. 9/10
[name_u]Leone[/name_u]: I like this one very much. I would rate it higher however I think you would get a lot of people pronouncing it ‘Lee-own’. 7/10
[name_m]Kaan[/name_m]: I would definitely spell it this way. Seems fuller and less made up. I love the feel this name has. 7.5/10.
Ishmail: I love this sound of this name however I would opt for the more common spell [name_m]Ishmael[/name_m]. 7.5/10
[name_u]Isa[/name_u]: very nice name. I like it a lot. 7.5/10
[name_u]Sasha[/name_u]: while this is a very nice name I personally wouldn’t use it as it is a lore feminine name. 6/10
[name_m]Rafael[/name_m]: a nice name, not my style but still a good choice. 6/10
[name_u]Adrian[/name_u] and [name_u]Tristan[/name_u]: to me these name are very similar, I’m sorry but I just don’t like either. The just sound like lower class names to me. I’m sure most people won’t see them this way so don’t let me out you off naming your kid this. 3/10
[name_u]Axel[/name_u]: I really don’t like this. 3/10
Thank you all for contributing to this post And regarding some of the mispronounciation concerns - it is not really a problem for me since I live in an area in which the bottom three names (the ones that raised the most concerns) are fairly popular and I speak the language in which things are pronounced the same way they are written. I guess that things would be different if I planned on living somewhere else
