[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
Here are my favorite to least favorite rankings:
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] Aurora-I love how [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is bright & cheerful & vintage with a little bit of quirkiness. It also has beautiful floral imagery. I can see [name_f]Violet[/name_f] on a soft quiet girl or a spunkier girl. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is nature-y and flows nicely.
[name_f]Olive[/name_f] Persephone-I have [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] on my list, so this reminds me of that. I don’t like [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] nearly as much as [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], because [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] reminds me of the dated sounding [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f]. That all being said, this is still a fun unexpected combo. And I love [name_f]Olive[/name_f]! It’s feminine without being frilly, and kind of retro glamorous.
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] Emmeline-This is an adorable combo. I love how light & easy it sounds. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is a name that is hard to say without a smile. I really like just [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] (especially with Emmeline), but I also have a hard time picturing [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] on an adult. I’ve met a couple of adults named [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], and it still feels odd. I love the idea of [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f] Wildrose-Wildrose is a bit much for me, but I think that I’m just not brave enough! [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] is smart and kind & vintage. I like the nn [name_f]Millie[/name_f], but really don’t like [name_f]Emmy[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and prefer that slightly to [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]. Plus, I feel like [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] may get mistaken for [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] sometimes since [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is more common.
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f] Magnolia-I think that [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] is super sweet, but I do prefer it as a nn. [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] & [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f] are my favorites, but [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] is kind of nice too . [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f], however, is just a lovely combo.
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] Pearl-I don’t mind [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], but sometimes it feels a little snooty to me. I love [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] much more. [name_f]Addie[/name_f] names in general though are so over done, unfortunately. I absolutely love the [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] part though, which makes this combo sparkle a bit more than other [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] combos would for me.
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] Lilia-I love love love the [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] part. One of my favorites. It’s mystical and elegant & just lovable. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] flows well, even though I find these to be slightly different styles. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] isn’t unpleasant, but it’s not my cup of tea. It’s really over done, and I always feel like it’s kind of heavy.
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] Madeline-I like [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] a lot more in theory than I actually like saying it. It’s kind of a vintage flapper girl name, which I’m usually really into. Not sure why I can’t get on board with [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], but it’s not a bad name at all. I do think that [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] is pretty as is this combo.
[name_f]Meadow[/name_f] Claire-Meadow is a pretty word with pretty imagery, but for some reason I just can’t accept it as a name. Maybe I’m just not used to it.
[name_u]Emerson[/name_u] June-I like the [name_u]June[/name_u] part, but [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] is just too trendy & too boyish in my opinion.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
