So i dont plan on having kids for atleast 10 years (im 16 lol) but i wanted your opinions on my 10 favourite gorl names. I do have 53 girl names on my list :woman_facepalming:t3::grimacing: but i wont bore you with all of of them. [name_f]My[/name_f] top 10 are

The spellings wont change. Im not a fan of the spelling [name_u]Everly[/name_u]. I do prefer the spelling [name_f]Elena[/name_f] but people say it as [name_m]Eh[/name_m] lee na , which puts me off. So i think Elaina/Alaina would be the best choice.

[name_m]Way[/name_m] to go narrowing down the top 10 from 53! Here are my favorite to least favorite rankings:

Penelope-Penelope is so lovely. I feel like it’s bright & cheerful, but she’s got just the right amount of quirky bookish charm too. And my favorite parts are the nn options of Nellie(!) & [name_u]Penny[/name_u].

Elaina/Alaina-I really prefer the ‘E’ spelling here; it looks more natural & I’m way more into ‘Ellie’ than ‘Allie’. [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] feels a bit more timeless. Maybe you don’t like either of those nns, but [name_f]Elaina[/name_f] just feels more classic with [name_f]Alaina[/name_f] being more 90s. Either way, it has a pleasant elegant slightly exotic but easy to say vibe. I do prefer the [name_f]Elena[/name_f] spelling if I’m really being picky, but a nice name none the less. Works great on ever age.

Elorah-Well, I really like [name_f]Elora[/name_f] without the ‘h’, but it’s pretty none the less. Gives me similar vibes as [name_f]Elaina[/name_f], but maybe a bit more dark…and in a good way. [name_m]Just[/name_m] kind of dramatic, but still sweet enough. I’m picturing a bada** princess type! This is more unique than a lot of the other names on your list, which is a plus.

River-I really love [name_u]River[/name_u] for a boy, but it’s such a beautiful word with awesome imagery that I’m not too upset about it for a girl. [name_m]Just[/name_m] feel like it leans more masculine. I do know a cute little girl named this too.

Sunny-I feel like this is almost too cutesy, but I met a little girl named this not too long ago, & was really excited about it! [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like just [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] or do you maybe like [name_f]Susanna[/name_f] nn [name_u]Sunny[/name_u]? Something more grown up to fall back on?

London-It feels sort of trendy & really associated with the city which makes it odd, but it has a pleasant sound at least.

Luna-I should like this, because I like the short spunky feminine yet not too frilly vibe. Plus, it has cool outer space imagery. But I just can’t get on board, because it feels so over done and it’s basically the name of every dog I meet.

Hayden-I don’t hate the sound of this, but do find it really more masculine; can’t get on board for girl.

Everleigh-This is just so over done with all different spellings. So many kids are some kind of ‘Ev’ name these days that it just feels done to death. In any case, I’d prefer the more simple [name_u]Everly[/name_u].

Kennedy-I don’t know…I have no problem with JFK, but this is so associated with the [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] family, that it feels weird as a fn for a little girl.
