It’s really pretty but it just doesn’t stand out to me as a name itself. It makes me think of someone sophisticated yet playful.

I don’t dislike the name, but I find it very hard to imagine on a lot of people. I imagine a [name_f]Colette[/name_f] to be sweet but a bit stuck up.

I read these both with the same pronunciation, but I associate basically any pronunciation of this name with a woman that is youthful and trendy, as well as being sociable.

Blair - I think Blair is so sleek and elegant. I probably think so because of Blair Waldorf, but even without the tv series connection, I think Blair has that American ‘old money’ feel. Blair also feel kinda ‘cool girl’, because it’s short and confident (strong but also soft?) sound and unisex feel. I love that name! 10/10

Colette - love it! I am in love with pretty much all -ette names. I think they sound so dainty like a porcelain ballerina and they have that ‘coquette’ French ‘pretty girl’ vibe. I imagine someone petite with a gorgeous doll-like face, long curly hair and doe eyes. 11/10

Elle - I think Elle is gorgeous and it has a beautiful soft sound. But because Elle means ‘she’, I’m not sure if I would use it myself … I’d LOVE Elle/ Ella as a nickname though! Elle and Ella feel a bit cottagecore’y . 8,5/10

Gemma - To me Gemma feels kinda dated, because it has the similar sound to Jenna. I think of the 80s and the big hair that came with that time :smile:. But the sound is beautiful and the nickname Gem would be so cute! 4/10

Greer - Greer is often found in ‘old money’ aesthetic name lists and I agree! This name has the same sleek and elegant yet ‘cool girl’ unisex vibe as Blair. But I really don’t love the sound. 5/10

Hadley - This name has a strong American feel. I imagine a typical American college girl/ girl next door. It has a cute sound and friendly feel but I feel very neutral about it. 5/10

Hollis - I can’t help it, I think of the Halls cough pastilles. :sweat_smile: But the sound is sweet and soft. 5/10

Kit - A cute nickname, but I associate it with ‘a first aid kit’ or with K.I.T.T. the car. 3/10

Lila - I really like it! I think of Lilac flowers and of that unicorn from a Barbie movie. 7/10

Lola - A cute bubbly nickname. I do think of Lolita :grimacing:. 4/10

Lyla - same vibe as Lila, but I prefer Lila. Lyla looks a bit like a creative spelling. 5/10

Margaux - Super elegant, classy and kinda royal. Feels more unique and special than Margot, because it’s longer. Frilly but not frilly. Margaux and Beatrix would be an awesome sibset - princessy in a ‘cool girl’ way. 10/10

Margot - Love this one too! Very sleek and ‘old money’. 9/10

Palmer - It sounds like an occupation name related to palms (:raised_back_of_hand:) 1/10

Piper - Cute and spunky, but I also immediately think of pipes and plumbers… 3/10

Serena - I think of mermaids (sirens) and of Serena van der Woodsen. This name feels shimmery, sparkly, mysterious and glamorous. 9/10

Sloane - In the same world with Blair and Greer. American ‘old money’ vibes. However, I don’t really like the sound. 3/10

Stella - Really adorable! I imagine a little blond Scandinavian girl baking with her mother. They live in a Swedish-red house and she has two sisters Clara and Marta 8/10

Theoretically the “would use myself” category is probably about a 9, the like but wouldn’t use is probably like a 7, and the last category is probably about a 4-5. I tacked [name_f]Stella[/name_f] in the last category, but maybe she’d be more like a 6, I love her meaning and S names are so fun and sleek, but historically she’s just not done much for me, but I’m liking her more today, so I would probably rank her more like a 6 today… I guess. Again, not great at this lol. But [name_f]Lila[/name_f], [name_f]Lola[/name_f], and [name_m]Kit[/name_m] - love, love, love!
