Hi there.
Here are my favorites on your list:
Amelie nn [name_u]Ami[/name_u]-I really like [name_f]Amelie[/name_f]. It’s cheerful yet elegant & slightly exotic. [name_u]Ami[/name_u] is a nice nn. I like how it means ‘friend’ in [name_u]French[/name_u], right?
Aria nn [name_u]Ari[/name_u]-[name_f]Aria[/name_f] is just kind of over done. And it bugs me how it got so trendy so quickly because of a TV show character. Plus, I love [name_u]Ari[/name_u] for a boy.
Aurora nn [name_u]Rory[/name_u]-I’m not a huge fan of [name_u]Rory[/name_u] for a girl, but I think it’s okay as a nn for the feminine [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]. [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is bold & elegant. I like the nature imagery too. [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] & [name_u]Rory[/name_u] are a little bit hard to say, but maybe that’s just me.
Eleanor nn [name_f]Noor[/name_f]-I love [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]. It’s the perfect balance of vintage beauty & feminine charm. It’s smart & adventurous. I don’t really think that [name_f]Noor[/name_f] sounds that pretty though. I love the nns [name_f]Nellie[/name_f] or [name_f]Ellie[/name_f].
Eloise nn [name_u]Lou[/name_u] or [name_u]Louie[/name_u]-[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] is darling. It’s spunky & a little bookish. But very pretty & pleasant sounding. I like [name_u]Lou[/name_u] or [name_f]Lulu[/name_f], but [name_u]Louie[/name_u] is kind of masculine in my opinion.
Evelyn nn [name_u]Ever[/name_u]-[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] is super duper popular. I come across so many Evelyns/Evies. [name_u]Ever[/name_u] is different, but I don’t personally love it for a name.
Freya nn [name_u]Rey[/name_u]-[name_f]Freya[/name_f] is sweet. Smart, soft yet has substance. It’s simple but not terribly over done at all. I don’t mind [name_u]Rey[/name_u], but it seems a bit of a stretch here.
Hazel-I find [name_m]Zel[/name_m] a bit of a stretch too, but it’s kind of cool. [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is a nice classic. Quite popular though.
Matilda nn [name_u]Mattie[/name_u]-[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] is kind of fun & quirky. I prefer the nn [name_f]Millie[/name_f].
Viola nn [name_f]Vi[/name_f] or [name_m]Ola[/name_m]-It’s different, but just a little too dusty. And I like old lady names too. [name_m]Just[/name_m] can’t get into this one.
Hope this helps.
