Saige
[name_f]Kate[/name_f] (would go by [name_f]Katie[/name_f])
[name_f]Maya[/name_f]
[name_f]Molly[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]

Saige – 4/10 I’m pretty neutral on this one.
[name_f]Kate[/name_f]/Katie – 5/10 Cute!
[name_f]Maya[/name_f] – 4/10 I prefer [name_f]Maia[/name_f], but still a sweet name.
[name_f]Molly[/name_f] – 8/10 Adorable!
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] 10/10 LOVE.

Saige - 6/10 I prefer this to [name_u]Sage[/name_u]
[name_f]Kate[/name_f] - 6/10 [name_f]Katie[/name_f] is a good nickname but my personal taste would be [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]/Katharina/Katerina etc. for nn [name_f]Katie[/name_f]
[name_f]Maya[/name_f] - 8/10 nice
[name_f]Molly[/name_f] - 7/10 So pretty! I somehow dislike [name_f]Polly[/name_f] but like [name_f]Molly[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] - 9/10 Always loved this - just one off because it’s so popular

[name_u]Saige[/name_u]-5
Kate (would go by Katie)-7
Maya-8
Molly-6
Sophie-8

Saige - 8/10, as long as you’re ok with the constant association with the herb it’s lovely although I wouldn’t use it myself
[name_f]Kate[/name_f] (would go by [name_f]Katie[/name_f]) - 3/10, I’ve never liked [name_f]Kate[/name_f] I’m afraid, I prefer just [name_f]Katie[/name_f] and it seems slightly weird to me to have a nickname be longer than the actual name
[name_f]Maya[/name_f] - 10/10, by far my favourite of your names
[name_f]Molly[/name_f] - 4/10, the name itself is nice enough but after being called LSD for years I’d never give a child a name where something similar can happen
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] - 7/10, it feels a bit overused but it’s still a nice name - I guess it’s just lost some of its charm for me

Saige 6.5/10
[name_f]Kate[/name_f] 6.5/10
[name_f]Maya[/name_f] 9 or 9.5/10
[name_f]Molly[/name_f] 7/10
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] 7/10

Saige- 8/10, I don’t mind the spelling and I like the name
[name_f]Kate[/name_f] “[name_f]Katie[/name_f]”- 3/10, these are both meh to me. They’re a bit bland next to your others
[name_f]Maya[/name_f]- 7/10, I really like this name but I prefer [name_f]Maia[/name_f]
[name_f]Molly[/name_f]- 6/10, not my style but not a bad name
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]- 7/10, not a bad name but it’s becoming too common for me

Saige - 5/10, I have a bad association with this name which is probably why I’m pretty meh about it. I do prefer this spelling over [name_u]Sage[/name_u] though, and overall I like the sound.
[name_f]Kate[/name_f] (“[name_f]Katie[/name_f]”) - 3/10 These don’t do much for me. I like [name_f]Kate[/name_f] as a spunky middle but as a first name it feels a little dated to me. [name_f]Katie[/name_f] especially feels very dated and overused to me.
[name_f]Maya[/name_f] - 3/10 I like it but don’t love it. I do like the connection to [name_f]Maya[/name_f] [name_f]Angelou[/name_f] though and I think it’s a name that could easily fit any child.
[name_f]Molly[/name_f] - 5/10 It’s not my style but I do like how it feels familiar but not overused.
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] - 5/10 definitely prefer over [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] but this is extremely popular where I’m from.

Saige is the kind of name everyone will have an opinion on, so you have to prepare for that, and for your daughter experiencing that her whole life. The spelling is unusual, too, so it’s doubly unusual. It’d rate it a 5/10.

Kate and Katie are lovely, but perhaps she should have the option of Katherine/Kathryn if she wants. Katherine can be shortened to Kate or Katie, but Kate can’t really be lengthened. 9/10 for Kate, 10/10 for Katherine.

Maya is lovely, 10/10.

Molly is lovely, 10/10.

Sophie is lovey, 10/10.

Excellent choices. I don’t understand the low marks people are giving for these gorgeous and sensible names.

Saige - 5/10

Not my personal favorite but it is a beautiful name, not overused but not unheard of. Also easy to spell which is good for the child learning.

Kate (Katie) - 8/10

I love this name, it’s one of my favorites. Again it’s not too popular but it’s not unheard of. Very elegant and sweet but also strong and powerful.

Maya - 6/10

Another lovely name. I know a few Mayas but it’s not overused. Feminine and punchy.

Molly - 9/10

LOVE THIS! Vintage name slowly coming back into popularity. Sweet for a little baby girl and not too popular. I would love to use this but DH isn’t a fan :frowning:

Sophie - 10/10

This is on my favorites list for sure. I am currently pregnant with twins (g,b) and we are going to name the girl Sophie. It’s sophisticated and elegant, well known (but quite popular which isn’t great). I can’t wait to be able to use this name for my daughter!

I really love your style!

Saige- 4/10: I prefer [name_u]Sage[/name_u] spelling

Kate([name_f]Katie[/name_f])- 7/10: I like this.

Maya: 8/10

Molly: 7.5/10

Sophie: 6/10

Saige and [name_f]Maya[/name_f] are very nice names. The others are a bit common for my tastes.

Saige: 1/10 I can’t with spelling names incorrectly, to me it screams “I want my kid’s name to be unique” but really is the same as the originally spelled name just giving them a hard time. “No that’s sage with an i”. [name_u]Sage[/name_u] for a girl would get a 6/10. This is a name I much prefer for a boy but in general I like the sound

Kate: 1/10 I can’t with [name_f]Katie[/name_f]/Kate. There are wayyyy too many out there already from [name_f]Katherine[/name_f], [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f], [name_f]Katelyn[/name_f] (with all the spellings) it’s just so overdone

Maya: 5/10 Boring, but nothing inherently wrong with it

Molly: 4/10 Same as above. It’s just very blah. Keep in mind it does now have a drug association being the pure form of MDMA, but it’s well established enough that shouldn’t be an issue. [name_f]Crystal[/name_f] still works so

Sophie: 3/10 Again, boring. Plain. Nothing special about it. Definitely prefer it to [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] though. [name_m]Lord[/name_m] knows that name is WAY overdone

Saige - 3/10, I don’t see why you’re going for the unconventional spelling when you could go with [name_u]Sage[/name_u], which is more familiar and in my opinion better to look at
[name_f]Kate[/name_f] - 6/10 cute name and couldn’t really go wrong with it, its just a bit bland to me
[name_f]Maya[/name_f] - 3/10, quite bland
[name_f]Molly[/name_f] - 7/10, veryyyy cute, but to me lacks formality which is something I like a name to have
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] - 6/10, its a good name but its extremely common and therefore boring and lacking of individuality
