Alessia is so cool to see my name in a post! Personally I don’t really like it because here in Italy was one of the most popular names when I was born and so I grew up knowing so many Alessias… I would have preferred having a more unique name! Anyway around the world is not so popular so you will not have this problem. I like the sound a lot.

Dislike:
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f]

I really love almost all of the names here, so I just gave brief reasons why some of the ratings were lower/higher.
[name_f]Alessia[/name_f]: 8/10. The only negative connotation that might bother me is the “less” part idk.
[name_f]Elena[/name_f]: 8/10
[name_f]Julia[/name_f]: 6/10. It’s okay, but [name_f]Julia[/name_f] and [name_u]Julie[/name_u] have become quite popular.
[name_f]Marina[/name_f]: 10/10.
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f]: 6/10. too popular
[name_f]Veronica[/name_f]: 9/10
[name_f]Catarina[/name_f]: 7/10. I prefer [name_f]Catrina[/name_f], as it’s a bit easier to say.
[name_f]Valencia[/name_f]: 9/10
[name_f]Azaleia[/name_f]: 7/10.
[name_f]Silvia[/name_f]: 10/10. very pretty, underused and super cool.
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]: 6/10. popular
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]: 6/10

[name_f]Alessia[/name_f]: 10/10
[name_f]Elena[/name_f]: 6/10
[name_f]Julia[/name_f]: 4/10
[name_f]Marina[/name_f]: 8/10
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f]: 10/10
[name_f]Veronica[/name_f]: 3/10 but i do love the nn ronnie🥰
[name_f]Catarina[/name_f]: 6/10
[name_f]Valencia[/name_f]: 9/10
[name_f]Azalea[/name_f]: 8/10 (uh-zay-lee-uh)
[name_f]Silvia[/name_f]: 5/10
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]: 7/10
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]: 10/10

Alessia- 8/10. I prefer Alessi but Alessia is really pretty.
Elena- 7/10.
Julia- 3/10.
Marina- 2/10.
Sienna / Siena- 6/10.
Veronica- 2/10. Veronica seems dated to me.
Catarina- 2/10.
Valencia- 6/10.
Azaleia (how do you prn this)- 10/10, if you’re pronouncing it like the flower (uh-zay-lee-uh). But I prefer the Azalea spelling.
Silvia / Sylvia- 2/10, I prefer just Sylvie personally so I would rate that higher.
Ruby- 7/10.
Genevieve- 4/10.

From most liked to least liked:

  1. [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] - This name is on my list as well  love it!
  2. [name_f]Azaleia[/name_f] (I prefer Azalea) - This name is so pretty and elegant
  3. [name_f]Elena[/name_f] - I love this name, sounds fierce yet pretty
  4. [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] (I prefer Sylvie) - This name is cute and has an adorable old lady feel to it
  5. [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] - This name is short and sweet, a classic
  6. [name_f]Alessia[/name_f] - I like this name but feel like people would pronounce it all kinds of different ways
  7. [name_f]Julia[/name_f] - This name is pretty but feels a little dated
  8. [name_f]Marina[/name_f] - This name is cute but isn’t my favorite
  9. [name_f]Catarina[/name_f] - This is a nice name but feels a little snobby
  10. [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] - Same reason as above, cute but snobby
  11. [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - I dislike this name because I personally have negative connotations with it
  12. [name_f]Valencia[/name_f] - I dislike this name but for no particular reason

[name_f]Alessia[/name_f] - 8
[name_f]Elena[/name_f] - 10
[name_f]Julia[/name_f] - 10
[name_f]Marina[/name_f] - 1
Sienna/Siena - 10
[name_f]Veronica[/name_f] - 7
[name_f]Catarina[/name_f] - 2
[name_f]Valencia[/name_f] - 4
[name_f]Azaleia[/name_f] - 5
Silvia/Sylvia - 4
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] - 2
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - 10

[name_f]Alessia[/name_f] - 4/10 - [name_f]Pretty[/name_f] I guess but just don’t love it.

[name_f]Elena[/name_f] - 5/10 - I like it when pronounced “eh-LEHN-uh”, not so keen on it being pronounced the same as “Eleanor” as I think that just causes spelling issues. [name_f]Pretty[/name_f], but I much prefer [name_f]Lena[/name_f].

[name_f]Julia[/name_f] - 6/10 - Such a classic name, I think it’s almost entering Elizabeth-level territory in that if I met a [name_f]Julia[/name_f] I wouldn’t be able to guess when she was born. I do like it, but I think it’s a little boring.

[name_f]Marina[/name_f] - 8/10 - It’s a little dated (very 90s) but I love it! I think it’s quite unexpected these days but has a lovely sound and very easy to spell/recognise.

Sienna/Siena - 5/10 - It’s pretty but way too trendy for my liking. I think it will go out of fashion as quickly as it shut up and then will be a name very attached to this period. I prefer the double ‘n’ spelling.

[name_f]Veronica[/name_f] - 6/10 - Very unusual but do like it. It does make think of ‘very a’ though which would be a deal-breaker for me…

[name_f]Catarina[/name_f] - 8/10 - Really lovely, unexpected but approachable take in [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]. I think this is a gorgeous name, very warm and sunny.

[name_f]Valencia[/name_f] - 8/10 - I really like this one too, can see it really catching on as a place name like [name_u]Florence[/name_u]. Very pretty. Don’t love the nickname “Val” though.

[name_f]Azaleia[/name_f] - 2/10 - I really don’t like this one, very tied to the pop star for me and I think spelling could be a headache.

Silvia/Sylvia - 8/10 - [name_u]Love[/name_u] this, a vintage classic starting to come back in I think. Much prefer the traditional [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] spelling though.

[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] - 7/10 - [name_f]Lovely[/name_f], though quite popular where I live. Don’t think that would be a deal-breaker though.

[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - 9/10 - Gorgeous! One of my favourite names and on my own list too. Easy [name_u]French[/name_u] elegance is a real win. [name_u]Wonder[/name_u] if it’s starting to get popular though…
