Melissa [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] - 3/10. I’m sorry, I feel so bad rating this so low! [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] is just one of my least favorite names. I don’t like the way it sounds, and I’ve just known so many that feels super overused and a bit dated. I do like nn [name_f]Lissy[/name_f] though! [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] is sweet, just nms.
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] - 10/10. this is absolutely stunning! So bright, fun, quirky, and warm!!
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] - 6/10. I love [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], I think it’s spunky and quirky. I also love the possibility of nn [name_f]Bee[/name_f]! I’m not a fan of [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] though, sorry. It’s just too dated for me, and it’s my least favorite ‘[name_f]Lily[/name_f]’ name.
[name_f]Amy[/name_f] [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] - 4/10. I’m sorry, [name_f]Amy[/name_f] is another one that’s too overused and dated for me. I’d prefer [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Amy[/name_f]! [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] is super popular and I’ve known a lot of them, so it’s lost it’s charm for me. I also personally prefer the [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] spelling!
[name_f]Helena[/name_f] [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] - 8/10. oh this is so lovely! [name_f]Helena[/name_f] is beautiful, and so sweet. [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] isn’t my personal style, but it flows nicely!
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] - 6/10. [name_f]Anna[/name_f] is pretty, I’m just not a fan of [name_f]Renee[/name_f], sorry.
[name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] - 10/10. sooo beautiful and sweet!! Lots of great nn options too!
[name_f]Susanna[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] - 9/10. soft and sweet with some spunk. I love all of the possible nicknames as well, my favorite is [name_f]Sanna[/name_f]!
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] - 7/10. I’m really not a fan of [name_f]Katherine[/name_f], but this is a sweet combo. I especially like the warmth of [name_u]June[/name_u]. I’d personally prefer the [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] spelling though!
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] - 10/10. oh, I love this so much!!! [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is one of my favorites, and this is such a beautiful combo!

Melissa [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] 3/10 - [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] is heavily tied to the 60’s and 70’s for me. [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] is pretty and the combo has a lightness to it I’m enjoying
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] 5/10 - a little too frilly for me. [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] is nice and [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is nice in theory, but I don’t love it on a real person.
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
[name_f]Amy[/name_f] [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] 3/10 - not crazy about either name, but they’re both fine. I’m not loving that the -ee at the end of [name_f]Amy[/name_f] kind of runs into the ih- at the beginning of [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Helena[/name_f] [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] 6.5/10 - very pretty, just a little OTT for my personal taste. But pretty!
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] - I really like [name_f]Anna[/name_f], but with [name_f]Renee[/name_f] as a middle, it just sounds so 90s to me. Not a fan of [name_f]Renee[/name_f]
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] 4/10 - [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], while a classic that will never be tied more to one gen than another, feels quite tired to me. I don’t love that the z sound is in both names. Really like [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]!
[name_f]Susanna[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] 7/10 - really like this one! I typically much prefer the [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] spelling, but I think [name_f]Susanna[/name_f] happens to look nicer in this particular combo
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] 6/10 - very nice! Nothing wrong with it at all, just a little too classic for my personal taste
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] 4/10 - I think [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] would glow a lot better. The R’s are too close together with the combo as it is for my taste. [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] isn’t for me, but [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is very pretty!

[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] - 6/10 I love [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] but not a huge fan of [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], the flow is nice
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] - 6/10 [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] is nms but flows well and like [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
[name_f]Amy[/name_f] [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] - 6/10 Fine, possibly a bit safe?
[name_f]Helena[/name_f] [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] - 8/10 lovely combo
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] - 4/10 I like [name_f]Anna[/name_f] but the combo with [name_f]Renee[/name_f] isn’t striking me particularly
[name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] - 6/10 I prefer the [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] spelling but this is a nice combo
[name_f]Susanna[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] - 8/10 Both names are lovely!
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] - 8/10 Usually prefer [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] spelling but names are lovely
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] - 7/10 Very nice together

Melissa [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] 6/10 I’m not a huge fan of [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] but this is a great combo.
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] 8/10
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] 8/10
[name_f]Amy[/name_f] [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] 7/10
[name_f]Helena[/name_f] [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] 9/10
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] 7/10
[name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] 8/10 I think the connection of the zippy S in both names is very nice!
[name_f]Susanna[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] 9/10
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] 7/10
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] 8/10

Eleanor [name_f]Iris[/name_f] 9/10 this is absolutely stunning. [name_f]My[/name_f] only improvement would be to spell it [name_f]Elinor[/name_f]

Melissa [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] 8/10 I really like this it’s beautiful. Although [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] feels slightly 80s I think it still works

Amy [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] 7/10 nice name nothing super striking about it.

Elisabeth [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] 7/10 likewise sweet enough not mind blowingly beauiful

Beatrice [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] 5/10 I’m not sure marigold is the best middle to pair with [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] it makes this name feel very Victorian in the dated sense

Phoebe [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] 6/10 it’s pretty not my favourite on your list

Helena [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] 5/10 again this name feels a bit 60s esque

Anna [name_f]Renee[/name_f] 5/10 that’s lots of n’s going on

Susanna [name_f]Claire[/name_f] 5/10 not a fan of [name_f]Susanna[/name_f] personally another name that feels like it’s from the 60s

Katherine [name_u]June[/name_u] 5/10 another mediocre combo

I like [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. Always a good idea to pair a classic with something light and fresh.
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]—I think adding the h to [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] gives it more personality and flair.

The rest of the names aren’t my style.

Hi there.

Here are my favorite to least favorite rankings:

Eleanor [name_f]Iris[/name_f]-I love [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]! It’s the perfect balance of smart, bold, feminine, classic & adventurous. [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is not my favorite name personally, but I don’t mind it as a mn here. It has nice floral imagery.

Beatrice [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]-I don’t usually like when fn/mn combos both have ‘r’ sounds, but this is so darn cute I don’t even care. [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] has this great bookish quality…like a sweet little girl in a library who afterwards goes outside & climbs trees. And [name_f]Bea[/name_f], [name_f]Bette[/name_f] & [name_f]Bess[/name_f] are super cute nn options.

Susanna [name_f]Claire[/name_f]-I’m very drawn to [name_f]Susanna[/name_f] spelled this way. It seems very homey, sweet & charming. It’s unique yet recognizable & classic. And I love all of the nns: [name_f]Sadie[/name_f], [name_f]Sally[/name_f], [name_f]Annie[/name_f], [name_f]Anna[/name_f] & [name_u]Scout[/name_u] mostly.

Elisabeth [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]-I kind of like the ‘z’ in [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] better, but it’s still a nice solid name w/lots of sweet nn options. And I love love love [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. It really brightens up the slightly serious [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f].

Phoebe [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]-Such a pretty combo. [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] is kind of quirky & fun loving, where [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] is more classic & serious.

Katherine [name_u]June[/name_u]-I don’t like how they both end in ‘n’ sounds, but this is a nice classic combo still. I love the idea of [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] nn [name_u]Kit[/name_u] or [name_f]Kitty[/name_f].

Amy [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]-[name_f]Amy[/name_f] is a little dated for my tastes, but I don’t hate it. It’s kind of cute & sporty.

Anna [name_f]Renee[/name_f]-[name_f]Renee[/name_f] is my mn, but I don’t love it. It makes [name_f]Anna[/name_f] seem a little drab, whereas [name_f]Anna[/name_f] is sweet, not terribly interesting, but sweet on its own.

Melissa [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]-[name_f]Melissa[/name_f] is kind of dated & just a bit blah in my opinion. I honestly do like this combo though, even though [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] is not my favorite either. The combo makes [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] seem more exotic, which I like.

Helena [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f]-Neither of these names are my style, & I feel like [name_f]Helena[/name_f] will most definitely have pronunciation issues.

Hope this helps.

Melissa [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]: I am not super big on [name_f]Delphine[/name_f], and [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] is a nice name but not especially my style. I feel like together it’s a little frilly for my taste and I would go for a shorter MN with [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] ([name_f]Melissa[/name_f] [name_f]Delphi[/name_f]? [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] [name_u]Day[/name_u]?) But I do like [name_f]Melissa[/name_f].
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]: oh, this is gorgeous. Very stately and ornate.
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]: This is very nice! I think [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] is solid and elegant enough to wonderfully balance the cute, bouncy [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f].
[name_f]Amy[/name_f] [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]: I love both of these names–[name_f]Amy[/name_f] is so underused on babies today–and they sound lovely together. I also prefer this spelling of [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] (to [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]) and it’s nice to see it.
[name_f]Helena[/name_f] [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f]: this is a little long/formal for my taste but they do work well together and I really like [name_f]Helena[/name_f].
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f]: lovely classic combination!
[name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]: [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] isn’t my favorite flower name but it sounds nice here, and [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] is such a lovely classic with so many nickname choices.
[name_f]Susanna[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]: I prefer spelling [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] because it looks more balanced to me but other than that it’s such a gorgeous name.
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]: I know a [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and I’ve always liked her name and this has a very similar nice sound, but it’s a little bit more spunky and modern in feel. Nice choice.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f]: again, two names I really like with wonderful flow together.

This is such a great list!
