I’ve been working on my family tree recently and have found that I’m related to [name_m]Breton[/name_m] nobility, a [name_u]French[/name_u] king, numerous Frankish kings, and two saints. In between, I have found many names of interest. Some sound like they could be in a classroom today whereas others sound completely alien. I’ll be starting at more recent times.
That’s so cool! I love all the names, especially [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_u]Gillette[/name_u], [name_f]Alienor[/name_f], [name_f]Adelheid[/name_f], Hafilda and [name_u]Oda[/name_u]!

[name_f]Virginie[/name_f] ~ 4/10 But I think this is cute! It gives strong Catholic vibes with me and also reminds me of Regine ([name_u]French[/name_u] [name_u]Marian[/name_u] variants). I prefer [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] cause [name_f]Virginie[/name_f] sounds a little too close to the word.
[name_f]Felicitie[/name_f] ~ 7/10 I prefer [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], but I am guessing this is also [name_u]French[/name_u]. [name_f]Felicitie[/name_f] is a lovely, bubby name and very sweet.
Gillete ~ 3/10 So cute but it has the razor connections!
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] ~ 8/10 Stunning and bright.
[name_f]Alienor[/name_f] ~ 6/10 Dreamy and ethereal but I do prefer [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Gisela[/name_f] ~ 7/10 Elegant and feminine
[name_f]Adelheid[/name_f] ~ 6/10 Fun and clunky
Teutberga ~ 8/10 I love [name_m]Burg[/name_m]/Berg/Burga/Berga names. Really clunky cool. The name is a little funny sounding though, so not full marks.
[name_f]Itta[/name_f] ~ 9/10 Fun, reminds me of [name_f]Britta[/name_f] & [name_f]Etta[/name_f]
[name_u]Oda[/name_u] ~ 3/10 This is so fun. I love [name_u]Ode[/name_u] and [name_f]Odelia[/name_f] as well
Papinilla ~ 6/10 Pap-in-iy-a? Fun and reminds me of [name_f]Papillon[/name_f] - [name_f]Butterfly[/name_f] in [name_u]French[/name_u]
Argotta ~ 8/10 So elegant and interesting! Remindles me of [name_f]Argenta[/name_f]. I love the -otta ending.
Hafilda ~ 9/10 I like this. Sounds like [name_m]German[/name_m] or Old [name_f]English[/name_f], and I love these style names
Virginie -I love the [name_u]French[/name_u] flair of this
Felicite - pretty and lively
[name_u]Gillette[/name_u] -reminds me of the razor brand unfortunately
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] -love the sparky [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
[name_f]Alienor[/name_f] - stunning, love the flow

[name_f]Itta[/name_f] - 4/10 - Pretty, but looks a little incomplete
[name_u]Oda[/name_u] - 5/10 - Very interesting!
Papinilla - 3/10 - Reminds me of vanilla, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Argotta - 3/10 - I don’t really like the “gotta” in it
Halfida - 6/10 - I really like this!

Virginie - [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] has recently been growing on me but this just looks like virgin-y to me, sorry!
Felicite - cute! I like [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] but this has some nice vibes to it
[name_u]Gillette[/name_u] - the brand makes this unusable but if the brand wasn’t existent, then I can see this being a fun alternative to [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] - so pretty!
[name_f]Alienor[/name_f] - I like it in theory, I’m always looking for [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] alternatives but I do find the ‘alien’ rather disconcerting

[name_f]Adelheid[/name_f] - clunky but charming
Teutberga - looks a little odd to me sorry!
[name_f]Itta[/name_f] - does have a certain charm to it but I agree that it sort of looks incomplete
[name_u]Oda[/name_u] - I pronounced it odour, apart from that, quite pretty!

Argotta - immediately thought of the UK’s Argos, but I don’t think this is that bad!
Hafilda - interesting and definitely would be a unique choice, but I can see it working!
