[name_f]Alana[/name_f] [name_f]Leah[/name_f] - To me this sounds a lot like a smooshed name. I like [name_f]Alana[/name_f], but I think pairing it with something that doesn’t end in ah/na would be better.
[name_f]Adalie[/name_f] - This looks incomplete to me and it’s difficult to tell how you would pronounce this at first glance.
[name_u]Blair[/name_u] - [name_f]Every[/name_f] mean girl, and occasional middle name for boys. Also makes me think of the [name_u]Blair[/name_u] Witch Project. I like it, but I would never use it. I much prefer [name_f]Claire[/name_f] to [name_u]Blair[/name_u].
[name_m]Cove[/name_m] - I kind of like it as a middle name, but I’m not sure. Definitely not my style.
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] - Despite how popular this name is I’ve only ever met one, yet interestingly enough I’ve known quite a few [name_f]Emily[/name_f]’s. To my ears [name_f]Emily[/name_f] sounds more complete.
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f] - It’s definitely cute, though I prefer [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] nn [name_f]Elsie[/name_f].
[name_f]Evie[/name_f] - Hmm. I think of the Pokémon,
Eevee, and a mini golf course I visited as a kid.
[name_f]Gracie[/name_f] - Sounds like the beginning of a double barreled name. I prefer [name_f]Grace[/name_f] to [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] as a full name.
[name_f]Harlow[/name_f] - Very similar to harlot, however, I don’t think that it’s necessarily a modern teasing potential. I think it’d be best to keep it as middle name, just to stay on the safe side.
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] - It’s cute. I don’t have any strong feelings towards [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]. I think it works well as a first, middle or even 1/2 of a double barreled name. Very versatile.
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] - I love [name_f]Luna[/name_f]. I really adore how versatile it is. I can picture any complexion, hair type, eye color, even wildly different personalities and to me it still works with [name_f]Luna[/name_f].
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] - I’m warming up to [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], but I don’t know if I’d ever use it. Not sure if it’ll ever escape the movie association.
[name_f]Saskia[/name_f] - I’m not sure if this would be pronounced or written correctly most of the time. I’d recommend going to Starbucks and seeing what they write down when you say the name. Personally, I’m not a fan.
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] - Despite the connection with [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m], I still imagine Cousin Itt. I don’t think [name_m]Harry[/name_m] will ever escape hairy, though I think it’s useable in Europe. I definitely prefer [name_m]Henry[/name_m] to [name_m]Harry[/name_m].
[name_m]Louis[/name_m] - Is it loo-wis or loo-ee? A question they’ll always have to answer. I think it’s okay, but not my style.
[name_u]James[/name_u] - A classic. It sounds regal, and perhaps a bit boring to some. I wouldn’t mind more [name_u]James[/name_u]’ nn [name_u]Jamie[/name_u] in the world.
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] - I instantly think of the zodiac sign, then [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] DiCaprio, and then the ninja turtle. As a stand-alone name it comes off as bandwagon-y, although it’s probably one of the few trendy names at the moment that will stand the test of time.
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u] - I like [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]. I think it could work on it’s own, though I do prefer [name_m]Charles[/name_m] nn [name_u]Charlie[/name_u].
[name_m]Atticus[/name_m] - I’m not a fan of it having the word attic in it, and I’m not particularly fond it sounding like abacus.
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] - It’s alright. I think it’ll get lost in the sea of [name_u]Finn[/name_u]’s though, possibly even mistaken for [name_u]Finn[/name_u].
[name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] - A bit of a guilty pleasure for me. I really like the way it sounds and the nickname [name_m]Link[/name_m] is kind of cool.
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] - It’s okay. I don’t have a strong opinion about it.
[name_u]Carter[/name_u] - I’ve only ever known females named [name_u]Carter[/name_u]/[name_u]Carson[/name_u]. I don’t really like it for either gender.
