These have just been on my mind today! Thoughts?

Caitlin
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] (please rate [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] as a full name, not as a nickname for something)

Caitlin 7/10
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] 6/10
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] 7/10

They are all a little too popular for my tastes but I do like the sound of [name_f]Caitlin[/name_f]. She’s probably my favorite. [name_f]Caitlin[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] would be a cool combo!

Caitlin 5/10
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] 9/10
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] 6/10

Caitlin - 5/10
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - 10/10
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] - 6/10

Hmm…
[name_f]Caitlin[/name_f] ~ my sister loves this name makes me think of her so it makes me smile. I think [name_f]Caitlin[/name_f] is a sweet Irish choice but aside from the sister association isn’t a top name for me 7/10

Genevieve ~ love love love this name is featured in my top 5 I think it’s beautiful so elegant and I love the nickname [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is effortless 10/10

Ellie ~ very popular as a name in its own right it’s very simple but I’m just not keen prefer [name_f]Evie[/name_f] which fits the nickname as a full name trend 5/10

Caitlin - 4/10. extremely overused, I’ve known so many of them. I do like the C though.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - 8/10. both pronunciations are beautiful, and there are lots of great nickname options (my favorite is [name_u]Nev[/name_u]!).
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] - 9/10. [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] is very sweet and adorable! It can definitely work as a full name.

Caitlin - 4/10
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - 9/10
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] - 5/10

Caitlin -6
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]-7
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]-6

Caitlin 5/10 Eh it’s a bit basic
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] 7/10 Prefer [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] but I still like this one
6/10 I like it

  1. Genevieve 11/10 I love this name but it is gaining popularity fast.
  2. Ellie 9/10 I think I like it better as a nickname for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
  3. Caitlin 6/10 I like the “[name_f]Cait[/name_f]” part but prefer [name_f]Katherine[/name_f].

Caitlin - 2/10
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - 8/10
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] - 2/10

Caitlin - about a 7/10. I love most [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] variants, and [name_f]Caitlin[/name_f] is much cooler in Irish than [name_f]English[/name_f]. I love the KAT-leen pronunciation as opposed to KOIT-leen, which I’ve also heard. I think she’s super lovely.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - love her, although today I’m preferring [name_f]Genoveva[/name_f], [name_f]Genevie[/name_f], and even [name_f]Ginevra[/name_f]. I’d still rank her at 8/10 though.
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] - sorry, this is like a 0/10 for me. I can’t explain why other than that it’s not my style, but I really dislike [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] as a nn, and as a standalone I like it even less. This is 100% a style/sound thing, though; [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] is NOT a categorically awful name. So take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Genevieve is my favorite!

Caitlin- 3/10, not bad just overused
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]- 6/10, not my personal style
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]- 6/10, again not bad just overused

Caitlin: 7/10 I knew so many [name_f]Caitlin[/name_f]/Katelyn/Kaitlynns, etc growing up that it’s a little dated to me, but is still a really nice name. [name_f]Caitlin[/name_f] is my favorite spelling for sure.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] 9/10 I love this name! I never get sick of it. I do agree with people who say it’s slightly prettier in french because of the especially soft G, but I think it sounds terrific in [name_f]English[/name_f] too.
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] 5/10 all nickname to me. Sweet sounding but a bit overused and I just struggle to see it as a full name.

Caitlin - 3/10. I feel like this name is getting more outdated now. Most of the people I know with this name are in their 30s now. I prefer [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and feel like that is more recent and trendy now.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - 7/10. I think this name is very cute and has some good nickname potential. [name_f]My[/name_f] concern is that it would be hard for a little kid to write out and learn to spell. Besides that, I think it’s great.
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] - 4/10. Not a fan of just [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] alone. [name_f]Ella[/name_f] I like a lot, but I don’t like [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] as a stand alone name.

Genevieve 9/10
[name_f]Caitlin[/name_f] 1/10
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] 1/10

Caitlin: 2/10, I’ve just heard this one too many times
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]: 9/10, I love this one!!!
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]: 8/10, sweet and lovely on its own

Caitlin - 5/110
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - 7/10
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] - 8/10

Genevieve 10. Beautiful name, rarely used, international in feel, lots of nn options, classy.
[name_f]Caitlin[/name_f] 6. Nice enough. It has been over-used and its starting to feel a little dated.
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] 5. Nice enough, sweet, over-used though, and doesn’t make a strong statement, a bit bland.
