[name_f]Violet[/name_f] - classic yet fresh, feminine yet solid. Can’t go wrong!
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] - Nice soft sound, not too common, yet recognizable
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] (Scarlie) - Why the need to specify Scarlie? [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] is lovely, and she might go for [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] (sounds a bit more friendly to me than Scarlie)
[name_m]Zo[/name_m]ë - Why the two dots? Won’t that just confuse standardized tests?
[name_f]Hallie[/name_f] ([name_m]Hal[/name_m]) - Not much of a fan of using nn for names, but this is definitely one of the more substantial ones
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] - [name_m]Just[/name_m] never liked this name. To be honest, I’m not sure why.
[name_f]Gracie[/name_f] (Grae) -If you’re naming her a nn already, there’s really no need for another one. [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is lovely; there’s not much need to spice it up.
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m] - Biblical, soft-sounding without being feminine, I love this name!
[name_m]Colton[/name_m] ([name_m]Cole[/name_m]) - I like the idea of naming a boy [name_m]Colt[/name_m] - a perpetually young horse. [name_m]Colton[/name_m] is a great way to make [name_m]Colt[/name_m] more friendly.
[name_m]William[/name_m] ([name_m]Will[/name_m]) - Can’t go wrong with this classic (and thank you for not calling him [name_m]Bill[/name_m] )
[name_m]Reuben[/name_m] - I wish this great Biblical classic, which has all the same virtues as [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], was not the name of a sandwich.
[name_u]Kyle[/name_u] ([name_m]Ky[/name_m]) - Nice name. A little past-peak though.
[name_m]Jaxson[/name_m] ([name_m]Jax[/name_m]) - I love [name_m]Jax[/name_m]. They are very tasty I would prefer the [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] spelling; no need to complicate his life.
[name_u]Ashton[/name_u] ([name_u]Ash[/name_u]) - Unfortunately, [name_u]Ashley[/name_u] is a girl’s name. [name_u]Ashton[/name_u] isn’t different enough for me.
Thank you for your opinions xx keep them coming xxx ” jame1881 those are just some nickname ideas, not set in stone, thats why I posted this, to see what people on NB think of the names xx also I like [name_m]Zo[/name_m]ë spelled this way as emphasis on the e sound, so people wont pronounce it as [name_m]Zo[/name_m]… I also like the idea of [name_m]Colt[/name_m] for the same reason xx
[name_f]Gracie/name_f I think this is a very common name. The Grae nickname makes it a bit more unusual but maybe consider Graeson(or [name_m]Grayson[/name_m]).
[name_f]Hallie/name_f I’m not personally a fan of this name but it could be cute!
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] I like this best out of all of your girl choices! It’s an older name but it feels modern and it isn’t too popular or unusual. It’s very cute too!
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] Again not a personal favorite. It always seems like a grandma’s name to me.
[name_m]Zo[/name_m]ë I like the name [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] but I agree that the dots will confuse your daughter when she’s younger as well as other people.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] I like this name but to me it’s more of a middle name
[name_f]Scarlet/name_f I like [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f]. It’s also very cute! The nickname is not my favorite but I guess it’s better than Scar right?
[name_m]Jaxon/name_m I love this combo! Although I personally like [name_m]Jack[/name_m] better that [name_m]Jax[/name_m].
[name_m]William/name_m This is another “[name_f]Stella[/name_f]” name for me. If you’re going for a classic name it works great but I think it’s a bit outdated.
[name_u]Kyle/name_u This is not a personal favorite again. I do like [name_m]Ky[/name_m] better than [name_u]Kyle[/name_u] though.
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m] This is a simple, classic, biblical name that can work for almost any boy! You can’t go wrong with [name_m]Caleb[/name_m].
[name_m]Reuben[/name_m] I love this name, even with the sandwich sharing it’s name. The only issue is you may run into is people who dislike that you “named your kid after a sandwich”.
[name_u]Ashton/name_u Another great name! [name_u]Ash[/name_u] may get some critics because it’s a common nn for [name_u]Ashley[/name_u], but in the modern world [name_u]Ash[/name_u] is becoming even more popular for boys.
[name_m]Colton/name_m I like this name too, although it’s fairly common. I like the nn [name_m]Cole[/name_m] but I personally prefer [name_m]Colt[/name_m]. Either way is good though!
[name_f]Gracie[/name_f] (Grae) - cute
[name_f]Hallie[/name_f] ([name_m]Hal[/name_m]) - okay
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] - I like this one
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] - not really into [name_f]Stella[/name_f], but it’s just not my thing, the name is fine
[name_m]Zo[/name_m]ë - [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] but don’t think the dots are necessary - does anyone actually think it’s pronounced [name_m]Zo[/name_m]? I think most people know this name.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] it.
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] (Scarlie) - okay
[name_m]Jaxon[/name_m] ([name_m]Jax[/name_m]) - okay
[name_m]William[/name_m] ([name_m]Will[/name_m]) - I like this one
[name_u]Kyle[/name_u] ([name_m]Ky[/name_m]) - okay
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] this! One of my top names
[name_m]Reuben[/name_m] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] this too! No idea what a [name_m]Reuben[/name_m] sandwich is that everyone’s on about (I’m Australian, maybe that’s it?)
[name_u]Ashton[/name_u] ([name_u]Ash[/name_u]) - I like this one
[name_m]Colton[/name_m] ([name_m]Cole[/name_m]) - okay
[name_f]Gracie[/name_f] (Grae): [name_f]Gracie[/name_f]'s cute. I knew someone named that as a kid. The nn Grae is so adorable!
[name_f]Hallie[/name_f] ([name_m]Hal[/name_m]): [name_f]Hallie[/name_f] is a cute name. It’s actually on my long list (short list is my signature)
[name_m]Zo[/name_m]ë: Same as [name_f]Hallie[/name_f]
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]: Same as [name_f]Hallie[/name_f]
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]: It’s an okay name, but I’m not too fond of it.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]: Beautiful name. It’s on my signature. (but it’s also overly popular. The only downside to it honestly)
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] (Scarlie): Scarlie is kind of neat actually. Personally, I prefer [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] over [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], but it’s cute.
Boy: (No order)
[name_m]Jaxon[/name_m] ([name_m]Jax[/name_m]): The nn [name_m]Jax[/name_m] is so adorable! [name_m]Jaxon[/name_m] is a nice variant of [name_m]Jackson[/name_m].
[name_m]William[/name_m] ([name_m]Will[/name_m]): I like [name_m]William[/name_m] (and the nn [name_m]Will[/name_m])
[name_u]Kyle[/name_u] ([name_m]Ky[/name_m]): [name_u]Kyle[/name_u] is a nice name too.
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m]: Personally, not too fond of it.
[name_m]Reuben[/name_m]: Not fond of this one either.
[name_u]Ashton[/name_u] ([name_u]Ash[/name_u]): I like this one, and the nickname [name_u]Ash[/name_u] is cute.
[name_m]Colton[/name_m] ([name_m]Cole[/name_m]): I like this one too.
I like [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], and [name_m]William[/name_m]. [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] are fine
I think that [name_u]Ashton[/name_u] should be [name_m]Asher[/name_m], [name_m]Jaxon[/name_m] should be [name_m]Jackson[/name_m], and I’d definitely replace [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] or even [name_u]Kyle[/name_u] with [name_u]Cal[/name_u]/[name_m]Calvin[/name_m]/[name_m]Caledon[/name_m]/[name_m]Callen[/name_m]
I don’t like using nicknames for nicknames like [name_f]Hallie[/name_f] and [name_f]Gracie[/name_f]
