[name_u]Davi[/name_u] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]: I really adore [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]: It’s feminine and vintage, but it’s so bright. I envision someone both spunky and sophisticated, who really enjoys nature. However, [name_u]Davi[/name_u]'s always been a difficult one for me. I tend to prefer [name_f]Davina[/name_f], and [name_u]Davi[/name_u] seems a little bit nickname-ish to me. It’s sort of like how I feel about [name_f]Lily[/name_f]: Pretty, with a lovely meaning, but somehow a bit incomplete.
[name_f]Berenice[/name_f] nn [name_u]Berry[/name_u]: I adore! [name_f]Berenice[/name_f] is one of those old-lady names I wish wasn’t perceived that way. It’s gentle but can hold its own, and has some of the coolest nickname options out there. [name_u]Berry[/name_u] is so lively and fun!
[name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f]: Beautiful name. Concise, but both of these names are packed full of meaning and weight. [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f] is such a wonderful nickname, but would you consider changing the order of the names to make it a bit more intuitive? [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] [name_u]Asa[/name_u] is lovely too.
[name_f]Elula[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] nn [name_f]Lu[/name_f] (eh-loo-lah): [name_f]Elula[/name_f] just isn’t doing to for me here. It’s a bit of a tongue twister, and when I asked my brother (who has a very mild speech impediment) to say it, he stumbled over the “l” sounds. However, [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] is a wonderful, sweet middle.
[name_f]Doveva[/name_f] nn [name_f]Dovie[/name_f] (doh-vay-vuh): YES! [name_f]Doveva[/name_f] is so underrated and underused. It’s lilting, elegant, and feminine, but it’s also strong. All of your names have a certain strength to them that is hard to quantify but is truly stunning. I like [name_f]Dovie[/name_f], but I might prefer something like [name_f]Veva[/name_f] or [name_f]Eva[/name_f].
Gefen [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f]: Once again, I love [name_f]Ruth[/name_f], and Gefen is really beginning to grow on me: Fierce and meaningful. However, I do foresee some pronunciation difficulties. ([name_m]Gee[/name_m] vs. [name_m]Jeh[/name_m] vs. Geh at the beginning.) If that doesn’t bother you, then this is just about perfect!
Tzipporah [name_u]Yael[/name_u] nn Tzippi: This is one of my favorites on your list. Evocative, flowing, unique, and beautiful.
[name_f]Nomi[/name_f] Lies: I really like Lies, but I’m not huge on [name_f]Nomi[/name_f]. It’s very sweet, but for some reason feels like a nickname.
[name_f]Liesel[/name_f] [name_f]Nomi[/name_f] : [name_f]Liesel[/name_f] is so lovely! I love the literary association, and the serene yet strong vibe I get.
[name_f]Neta[/name_f] [name_f]Millie[/name_f] (netta): I’m fairly neutral on this one. While neither name particularly stands out to me, I don’t dislike either, and they flow ell.
[name_u]Adi[/name_u] (ah-dee): Ooh, I really like this! It’s super ethereal and pretty.
[name_f]Raphaela[/name_f] nn [name_m]Rafi[/name_m]: I don’t understand why, but this one has always been a bit difficult for me. There’s something clunky, perhaps?
[name_f]Neva[/name_f] [name_f]Sabine[/name_f] (nee-vah): This is simply striking. [name_f]Neva[/name_f] is evocative but simple, fits in with current naming trends but stands out due to its uniqueness, and has a nature meaning. [name_f]Sabine[/name_f] is simply gorgeous, and in the age of [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f], I don’t understand why it doesn’t get more recognition.
[name_f]Noa[/name_f] [name_f]Sabine[/name_f]: Once again, I adore [name_f]Sabine[/name_f], but [name_f]Noa[/name_f] has always seemed more masculine to me, and I think the names are a bit of a stylistic mismatch.
[name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Sabine[/name_f]: [name_f]Esther[/name_f] is one of the best classics out there, and stunning paired with [name_f]Sabine[/name_f].
[name_f]Hadassah[/name_f] nn Dassah (hah-dah-suh): This has never been a favorite of mine. While I appreciate its historical and cultural context, the sound of the name itself is a bit clunky to me.
[name_f]Zisel[/name_f] [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] (zees-le): While [name_f]Zisel[/name_f] is alright, I prefer [name_f]Liesel[/name_f]. However, [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] is one of my favorites: [name_f]Serene[/name_f], unique, and distinctive.
Shlomit (sh-low-meet): I think this would make a meaningful, distinctive, gorgeous choice for a daughter.
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]: While several names on your list seem like viable unisex options, I just can’t envision [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] on a girl. However, [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a favorite of mine, popularity be damned.

[name_u]Davi[/name_u] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] (dah-vee): Are you intending this for a boy or a girl? It’s not my cup of tea either way.

[name_f]Berenice[/name_f] (behr-rah-nye-see) nn [name_u]Berry[/name_u]: This one will be hard to pronounce.

[name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f] I like [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f], but not [name_u]Asa[/name_u].

[name_f]Elula[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] nn [name_f]Lu[/name_f] (eh-loo-lah): I like [name_u]Valentine[/name_u], but not [name_f]Elula[/name_f] that much.

[name_f]Doveva[/name_f] nn [name_f]Dovie[/name_f] (doh-vay-vuh): [name_u]Love[/name_u] this. Pretty full name, and adorable nickname.

Gefen [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f] : I like [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] Gefen better.

Tzipporah [name_u]Yael[/name_u] nn Tzippi: Very biblical, personally very my taste. Yali is also a good nn.

[name_f]Nomi[/name_f] [name_f]Liesel[/name_f]: Pretty. Would you consider [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Liesel[/name_f]? The syllables may run smoother.

[name_f]Liesel[/name_f] [name_f]Nomi[/name_f]: I prefer the other way around.

[name_f]Neta[/name_f] [name_f]Millie[/name_f] (netta): Not into the combo. But how about [name_f]Neta[/name_f] [name_f]Sabine[/name_f]?

[name_u]Adi[/name_u] (ah-dee): Like it a lot.

[name_f]Raphaela[/name_f] nn [name_m]Rafi[/name_m]: Not one of my favorites.

[name_f]Neva[/name_f] [name_f]Sabine[/name_f] (nee-vah): Pretty!

[name_f]Noa[/name_f] [name_f]Sabine[/name_f]: Really pretty!

[name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Sabine[/name_f]: I liked the “N” options with [name_f]Sabine[/name_f] better than [name_f]Esther[/name_f].

[name_f]Hadassah[/name_f] nn Dassah (hah-dah-suh): Pretty. You also have Dassi…

[name_f]Zisel[/name_f] [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] (zees-le): It flows nicely, and is very unexpected.

Shlomit (sh-low-meet): Pretty.

[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]: Are you intending [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] for a girl (with middle [name_f]Rose[/name_f]?) If yes, I’m not into it. [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] is for boys.

Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m]!!

[name_u]Davi[/name_u] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] – [name_f]Lovely[/name_f]. I’ve always loved [name_u]Davi[/name_u], but as it wuld either get mispronounced as [name_m]Davey[/name_m], or a -d tacked on the end mistakenly here, I cannot consider it further. [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is gorgeous, and one of my own favourites.
[name_f]Elula[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] – A very romantic, whimsical little dear.
[name_f]Doveva[/name_f] – This is gorgeous - always loved this name.
Tzipporah [name_u]Yael[/name_u] – Another real beauty.
[name_f]Nomi[/name_f] [name_f]Liesel[/name_f] – I like it.
[name_f]Raphaela[/name_f] – A lovely, spunky name which I like a lot (especially spelled this way)
[name_f]Noa[/name_f] [name_f]Sabine[/name_f] – I’ve said this before on your posts, but this is just gorgeous.
[name_f]Hadassah[/name_f] – [name_f]Lovely[/name_f].
[name_f]Zisel[/name_f] [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] – Yes, the single S is much better, and as I said in that post, I love this combo.
[name_u]Adi[/name_u] – Very sweet.

[name_f]Berenice[/name_f] – I find this one extremely dated and it doesn’t appeal to me at all, particularly with this pronunciation.
Gefen [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] – I’m not liking the look or sound of Gefen, though admittedly, it is a name I’m not at all familiar with, so that may definitely play part.
[name_f]Neta[/name_f] [name_f]Millie[/name_f] – I quite like [name_f]Neta[/name_f], though I don’t think it pairs well with [name_f]Millie[/name_f]. It’s not too bad, but I do think a longer/non-nickname type name would work better - [name_f]Neta[/name_f] [name_u]Michal[/name_u]?
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] – I can’t seem to see [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] on a girl myself, and honestly, to me, the [name_f]Rose[/name_f] seems tacked on just to make it seem more feminine.
Shlomit – Again, as this is entirely unfamiliar, it doesn’t look or sound the best to me, but I do like the meaning.

Thank you all! Your remarks were very helpful. Any more comments?
