We have a very similar style, so I love a lot of these!!
[name_u]Love[/name_u]:
[name_f]Hallie[/name_f] - so sweet and cheery! It always make me feel happy when I hear it. I also like that it’s short and nicknamey but feels complete on its own. I imagine such a happy, bright person when I hear this name!
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] - this is one of my favorite names ever! It has charm and elegance without feeling stuffy or frilly. Its timeless but feels fresh and its sophisticated and intelligent but also spunky. I love that it’s a shorter name but it doesn’t compromise on its classic qualities. I could see it working on a lot of different kinds of people!
[name_f]Olive[/name_f] - another absolute favorite of mine! Sweet and spunky. It’s adorable on a little girl but ages well and feels mature on a teen or adult. I like that it’s quirky but not “out there.” I also like that it’s a color name but not obviously so.
[name_u]Willow[/name_u] - this list is just full of my favorites! What I absolutely love about [name_u]Willow[/name_u] is its soft strength. It reminds me of the tree - gentle but very grounded. I imagine a kind-hearted but strong-willed person, who is giving but firm. It also visually is very balanced, which I love.
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] - another one that just makes me smile! [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] just feels like the perfect name for someone who is bubbly and full of life. Sweet, but mostly sassy! I’m sure this is influenced partly by the movie character and partly by a little girl I know with this name. But it suits her personality so well! She’s charming and funny but definitely a little firecracker. [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] fits perfectly!
Like:
[name_f]Isabella[/name_f] - I used to love this name but it’s very common, so its loss a little bit of its appeal to me. I’m also not a big fan of the nickname [name_f]Bella[/name_f]. The nickname [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] is a nice sassy alternative, but overall the name is a bit too frilly for my taste. It’s very beautiful though - fit for a princess!
[name_f]Tilly[/name_f] - [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] is so cute! I especially love the [name_f]Tillie[/name_f] spelling. On its own though it just doesn’t feel complete. It’s lovely as a nickname for [name_f]Matilda[/name_f].
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] - This is quite pretty! There’s something about it though - I always want to like it more than I do. I feel like it’s missing something. Perhaps it just sounds a little too modern, or maybe it’s because it reminds me of [name_u]Sierra[/name_u], which is a name I really don’t care for. I think I like it slightly better spelled [name_f]Siena[/name_f], like the city. I do love that it’s another subtle color name!
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f] - this is another I want to like more than I do. I think it’s the multiple pronunciations that throw me! I’m Italian, but I like the “loo-SEE-ah” pronunciation much better than the “loo-CHEE-ah” one. Overall though this is one also gives me princess vibes. I like that is has the same feminine appeal as [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] but is much shorter.
[name_f]Lucille[/name_f] - there’s something about this name that has an old world charm to it! It’s definitely very old-fashioned/vintage, but in a trendy way, like [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] or [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]. It’s not my first choice for a Lucy-derived name (Lucia is), but I think on the right person, [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] is a name that would absolutely shine!
Neutral:
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f] - I love the look of this one, but don’t love the sound. I don’t have strong feelings about it either way, but I think it has a quirky, fun element to it. Its intelligent but not boastful, and I could it see it working well on any age!
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f] - I slightly prefer [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] or [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]. [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] just feels incomplete to me. I think it’s a lovely choice though.
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] - this one is very cute! It feels a little nicknamey to me, without any obvious long form. I’ve seen it used for [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], which I like, but it feels like a bit of a stretch though, and I’m not a fan of the other full name suggestions I’ve seen. It also makes me think of the poppy plant, which is certainly not a positive association.
NMS:
[name_u]Alexis[/name_u] - I’m just not a big fan of the sound of this name. I also don’t really care for [name_f]Alexa[/name_f]. I’m just not a big fan of the “lex” sound, especially in girl names. I do like [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] and/or [name_u]Alex[/name_u], but there’s something about [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] that just isn’t my style.
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] - another cute choice, but to me it doesn’t age well. I can only see [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] working on a young girl. I also tend to prefer longer versions of the name, like [name_f]Lucia[/name_f], [name_f]Lucille[/name_f], or [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f], to [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].
[name_f]Kirra[/name_f] - I don’t really care for this one. I’m honestly just not keen on many K names. Also, I know you wrote the pronunciation, but I’m still confused, as mirror for me has a weird sound on the end of it due to the r, whereas [name_f]Kirra[/name_f] ends in an a. I think I may be more open to it if I was confident how to pronounce it, but overall it’s just not for me. I do like [name_f]Kiera[/name_f] though!
