@readingreverie, Mom of ____

I feel as though I would totally be doing myself a disservice if I didn’t participate in this. Taking direct inspiration from a few of the lovely berries (Madison, Louise, etc!!)

What names/kind of names do I give “mom of” vibes? Whether it be names from my list or something seemingly random where I give big ___'s mom energy – I’d love to hear it. I don’t have any genders in mind (or even really numbers for this), so pick what you think feels the most like “Mollie and kids…” I’m very interested to hear what you guys think!

And if you want to respond, but don’t really know who I am or need a little bit of a refresher on me, I’ll add a bit of a description!

I am seventeen, Taurus sun, Gemini moon, Cancer rising. I work as a babysitter to five (eventually six!) lovely littles, siblings six and under - R, E, C, F, A, and eventually V, too. I am currently working towards a (hopeful) bachelors in criminology and psychology, with a minor in something along the lines of English/writing/literature!

I’m from a small town in the US Midwest, but I intend to travel around for the year after I finish my masters degree, with hopes to visit Ireland, Germany, England, and many more countries, doing my best not to visit in a too-touristy way.

I’m hoping to settle down in a town just a bit bigger than my own (TBD where, exactly!) within driving distance of my family. I dream of owning a large Victorian home, brick and turrets, and dark walls with cozy warm-sepia tones in the furniture and decor. A big backyard for my family to spend time in, with big hopes that it leads into the woods so I can see plenty of fall foliage yearly. Despite my general uncertainty and indecisiveness in life, I’ve never wavered on wanting to be a mom. No dream of mine is as steady as the one to get married and have children. Three to five is my ideal number, and there is nothing I want more in this world than to stay at home with them. A whole part of what I believe in as a feminist, the choice to be a SAHM someday. I picture my babies spending time outside, wearing chunky sweaters, helping their mama bake cookies and brownies, telling stories of fairies, reading books, giving butterfly kisses, and being a little bit cheeky!

I have a sister and four kitties, two of whom I call mine (Zeus and Ramses!), and fully intend to continue being a pet-mama once I move out! Ultimate dream would be an orange and black cat, and at the moment, a German Shepherd, Doberman, and Golden Retriever! Can you tell I’d like a full house?!

I have long dark hair that I prefer to wear down and styled with loose curls, brown/hazel eyes (a debate that I have monthly with both myself and others), pale skin, and am generally pretty feminine (l love a good bow, skirt, dress, jewelry collection, etc!) I prefer sheer berry-toned lipsticks, flowy clothes, and comfy sweaters. I rewatch and reread my favorite movies, shows, and books regularly, and try to pretend I’m living a cozy and quiet life.

Thank you in advance, friends. I really look forward to hearing all of your thoughts!! :white_heart:

you always give me three girls vibes! not quite sure why, maybe it’s because you’ve had a few of those on the fake blogs thread?!

looking at your uc, using names from your uc:

martha wonder
hilda friday
sylvie beulah

using names that make me think of you/i feel like you might use:

alice mildred
clara wisteria
martha fern

i can see each girl being 2.5-4ish years apart, like just a little below 3 years between the oldest two and 4 years between the second and third girls.

I think a trio of girls would suit you wonderfully! I would go with… [name_f]Agatha[/name_f], [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], & [name_f]Frances[/name_f]. If I had to choose a boy name as well, I’d choose [name_m]Ralphie[/name_m].

@melia22 Oh my goodness, Martha and Hilda would be so cute as sisters. I’m also loving the combo Martha Fern, so sweet!

@KT4 I’d love this family!!! The names match so well.

@Greyblue I’ve of course love to have an Agatha and a Tabitha!! Cosmo, Rufus, Alcott, and Merrily are great too. Such a fun set! I’m not sure I’m cool enough to be their mama!

@daisydarcy These are so lovely together! I love Ralphie as a surprise little brother to them too.

@lucy_halo1 Yes, you nailed my style with that description! I love all of these names.

@CattheBat13579 I’m loving seeing [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] and [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] at number one for what you see! [name_m]Henry[/name_m] too. [name_m]Bram[/name_m] and [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] are so unexpected, but are both new loves for me!

@tori101 It’s so fun, isn’t it?! These combos are stunning and I am honored to learn that you could picture me with littles named this! I mean [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] [name_f]Wren[/name_f] and [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] are so cool!!

@aylacoggins I’d love to have any of these, particularly [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] and Walter!!

@Julie_NameNerd I’d love that! I’m also loving the two middles. I’m still so undecided on if that’s what I will want in the long run. Either way, these are so fun!! I especially love [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_m]Cassian[/name_m] [name_m]Leif[/name_m] “Hugs.” How delightful.

@shanade213 Ooh, these are interesting!! I like [name_m]Gardener[/name_m] and Beverly!!

@seawillow And the vibes are totally there, haha! I can’t believe I give off such strong [name_m]Alcott[/name_m] vibes that it’s at least been mentioned twice. I’m not sure I’m well equipped enough to have a child with such a cool name!

I can see you either with 1 boy and and 4 girls or an even split (2/2)

without looking at your uc:

Hugo Frederick
Eliza Jane
Charlotte Hope
Harper Elizabeth
Amelia Catherine
(really feeling the letters ‘H’ and ‘E’ for some reason)

OR

Evelyn Josephine
Violet Maxima
August Henry
Oscar James

edit: realised I put four girls and only came up with 3 girl combos… this thesis is kicking my butt rn
