Reaffirm my love for Asa

I love [name_m]Asa[/name_m]. I feel like everyone I have discussed this name with in person dislikes it and it has me a little nervous about its use irl. Could you picture a little boy [name_m]Asa[/name_m]? an older male? Does it seem strong to you? What kind of vibe do you get from this name?

Oh no! [name_m]Asa[/name_m] is so ridiculously lovely! I’m sorry you are doubting it. Hopefully my own reasons for LOVING [name_m]Asa[/name_m] are helpful to you:

I love the meaning “healer”. Of all things in life to be, being a healer is one of the most beautiful.
I love that [name_m]Asa[/name_m] was a king in the Bible, and not just a king, but one of the best of the kings of [name_m]Judah[/name_m]. He pursued [name_m]God[/name_m] and righteousness.
I love that [name_m]Asa[/name_m] reminds me of oceans. The beach has always been a healing place for me and it makes me so happy that one of my favorite names of all time brings to mind the peace and restoration the beach brings me.
[name_m]Asa[/name_m] brings to mind blues and turquoises… and as turquoise is one of my favorite colors… this also makes me happy.
I love that [name_m]Asa[/name_m] feels like he has a deep, sort of old soul. Doesn’t have to be an old soul, but I love that he feels like he is not just surface level. He’s got depth and complexity to him.
I love that Asa’s such a tiny name but with such a powerful personality.
I imagine an [name_m]Asa[/name_m] would be creative and inventive and intelligent and kind and community is bred into his heart. He always puts others above himself. He’s the kind of adult you can just come into their presence and feel utterly seen and completely loved. He makes everyone and everything around him better.
[name_m]Asa[/name_m] is adorable on a baby, cool on a teenager, unexpected on an adult, but full of so much history that he grows with him in every age.

I can’t even conceive anyone hating [name_m]Asa[/name_m], I think he’s truly one of the most lovely and worthy names on the face of the planet. It brought me so much joy to see you falling for him… he’s such a special name.

If he doesn’t end up being the one, don’t let me make you feel guilty… but I will always be your [name_m]Asa[/name_m] cheerleader if you need one, hahaha!

I looooove [name_m]Asa[/name_m]. It has a gentle kind feeling, kind of like a lesser used [name_m]Ezra[/name_m].

I floated it to my husband for our baby on the way but couldn’t get him to use it.

My great uncle was a Stephen Αsᴀ and he went by Αsᴀ or Ace. I can still hear stories of him as a child. I also picture him as a fun loving older man from the stories my mom tells of her childhood which featured him and his wife quite often.

The images created of him has made me connect with a name I had fallen in love with over time. It is amongst the top boy names on my list.
