Normally, I keep my opinions to myself when it comes to baby names (I work in labor and delivery at a local hospital), but I needed to vent today…
I woman came in in labor with twins, a boy and a girl - here are the names she chose:
[name]Cam[/name]'ron [name]Jay[/name] - with hypen and all… for her baby girl
Ka’maron [name]Jay[/name] - also with hypen… for the baby boy
The worst part is, the names are pronounced the exact same! With the same middle name! She kept telling me how cute it was that they would grow up with virtually the same name… does she not realize that these kids will eventually be teens and adults who want separate identities, not to mention names that are spelled the right way.
Anyway… glad I got to let that one out, hopefully you haven’t heard anything near as bad.
I have a friend named Joslaine with a twin sister [name]Jocelyn[/name]. They’re adults now and live in separate countries, but she says it was not much fun growing up.
That is truly disturbing. Hopefully she’ll change one of their names later. I heard of two sisters, [name]Pam[/name] and [name]Lil[/name]’ [name]Pam[/name] from South [name]Carolina[/name].
I grew up with a [name]Stephen[/name] and [name]Stephanie[/name], and know an [name]Annaliese[/name] and [name]Annabelle[/name], but they aren’t nearly half as bad as some of the others here!
That is terrible! I thought I’d heard bad ones, but that is the worst I’ve ever heard! [name]How[/name] can anyone possibly think that is a good idea? It reminds me of Dr. Seuss’ story, “Did I ever tell you about Mrs. McCave? She had 23 sons and she named them all [name]Dave[/name].” Or something like that, haha… she regrets it in the end.
There are twin girls that were born in our church recently named [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Isabelle[/name], which are basically the same name. Aslo met recently a [name]Kylie[/name] and [name]Katie[/name], also newborn at my church. I went to school with a [name]Serena[/name] and [name]Kalena[/name]. [name]Love[/name] [name]Serena[/name], but the other is a little to redneck for me.
Some of the worst ones I’ve heard are actually popular twins names!
[name]Christopher[/name] & [name]Christian[/name] - So, [name]Chris[/name] &…[name]Chris[/name]?
[name]Heaven[/name] & [name]Nevaeh[/name] - [name]Nevaeh[/name] is bad enough
[name]Jayda[/name] & [name]Jayden[/name]/[name]Jada[/name] & [name]Jaden[/name]/[name]Jada[/name] & [name]Jayden[/name] - They’re practically the same!
I hate when people name twins so similarly. I met twins one time that to this day probably have the most awful names I’ve ever heard:
[name]Africa[/name] and [name]Asia[/name]
I have heard of 2 sisters named [name]Eva[/name] and [name]Ava[/name].
Also, the annoying celeb named his 8 sons [name]George[/name]!!!
Orangejello and Lemonjello…very sad.
As a kid, I went to summer camp with twins named [name]Tequila[/name] and Daquiri.
I also know three sets of [name]Ashley[/name] and [name]Amanda[/name], not terrible, just painfully unoriginal.
When my son was born, he was in the NICU with [name]Markus[/name] and [name]Markel[/name]. Their mother also had four-year old twins named [name]Michael[/name] and [name]Mikayla[/name]
[name]Catalina[/name] and [name]Malena[/name].
Not only do they rhyme, but one is pretty ([name]Catalina[/name]) and one is essentially… made up ([name]Malena[/name]).
