DH and I are not agreeing on a girls name anymore, and it’s starting to get me a little down. We had [name_f]Julia[/name_f] picked out for almost the entire pregnancy, and DH has now changed his mind. I’ve always loved [name_f]Julia[/name_f]. I don’t care if it sounds old, and perhaps outdated, it just feels so right to me.
But, my DH thinks it’s too close to our other daughters name, and leaves out another daughter, who’s name doesn’t end in an ‘a’.
I’ll list our children’s names, so you can see what I mean.
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f], [name_m]Nicolas[/name_m], [name_m]Cristian[/name_m], [name_m]Matias[/name_m], [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m], [name_f]Liliana[/name_f] ([name_f]Lily[/name_f]), & [name_f]Emilia[/name_f].
He think [name_f]Julia[/name_f] and [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] are too similar, and that [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] will feel left out. She already told me she wouldn’t.
He is now liking [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f], which are such gorgeous names, but I can’t see myself using. Plus [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] sounds terrible in Spanish.
*Which is your favourite out of the three, [name_f]Julia[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f] or [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]?
*Which would fit in best with her siblings?
