[name_m]Hi[/name_m], I am back after suffering a few losses, finally looking forward to a summer 2018 baby (cautiously optimistic in these early days, my hubby doesn’t even know yet… going to be his Hanukkah present this year to see the ultrasound pics).
I have lots of boy names to whittle down, but zero inspiration on girls. I need any and all suggestions. I like vintage and crazy names, not really into modern and newer creations (e.g., place names aren’t my style). I have been thinking about [name_u]Prairie[/name_u], [name_f]Honey[/name_f], [name_f]Fern[/name_f], [name_f]Ione[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Lotus[/name_f], [name_f]Magda[/name_f], [name_f]Fiona[/name_f], [name_f]Tulip[/name_f], and [name_f]Twyla[/name_f]. None of the, jump out at me much except maybe [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], but I was hoping for something less common. And I don’t want to repeat a first initial of another one of my children, I already have a [name_u]Pepper[/name_u], a [name_f]Marianne[/name_f], and an [name_m]Arthur[/name_m].
Ooh, I love so many of these but many have already been taken by people I know well, and I wouldn’t feel comfortable reusing.
REally like [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u], but adding it to my boy list. [name_f]FErn[/name_f] is ranking high for me. It’s a beautiful, ancient plant and I love that sense of groundedness the plant provides.
Thanks! [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] is going on my list, as is [name_f]Calliope[/name_f]. Liking the Ancient Greek vibe right now. (My name is from Greek mythology, could be a nice link).
