Rebel Wilson and siblings

I’m sure most people have heard of [name]Rebel[/name] [name]Wilson[/name], she is an actress and comedienne.

Her name has always intriged me so recently I googled her and found that she is one of four daugters and her siblings have similar names.

[name]Rebel[/name]
Ryot
[name]Liberty[/name]

[name]Just[/name] thought I should share…

[name]Rebel[/name] sure is something, but Ryot and Annachi? This has to be the strangest sibset I’ve ever come across.

Ryot is a boy, according to IMDb. Still a very unusual name!

After extensive googling I have found that [name]Rebel[/name] has 2 sisters ([name]Liberty[/name] and Annachi) and a brother (Ryot). I have found that her full name is [name]Rebel[/name] [name]Melanie[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], apparently she and her siblings have one normal middle name and then one middle after royalty - she got the queen. It also seems that during her high school years she went be her middle name [name]Elizabeth[/name]!

Poor Ryot and Annachi. The spelling on both is such an eyesore. Yikes.

In my opinion, any parent who names their children [name]Rebel[/name], Ryot and Annachi is just asking for trouble! Although it’s not my style either, [name]Liberty[/name] is the only name with no negativity attached to it.

[name]Lucky[/name] [name]Liberty[/name].

Seriously?! What were the parents thinking?!

At least they have “normal” parts of the name fall back on:

[name]REBel[/name] like [name]REBecca[/name] nn Rebby?
RYot like [name]RYan[/name] nn [name]Ry[/name]
ANNAchi like [name]ANNA[/name] nn [name]Anna[/name] or [name]Annie[/name]
[name]LIBerty[/name] like [name]Elizabeth[/name] nn [name]Libby[/name]

I think the parents thought that through a bit which I appreciate haha

Welllll…fair enough, they’re unusual names - but lets face it. Its serving her pretty well right now! I doubt she’d stand out so much in peoples minds if it weren’t for her very celebrity-like name! So I think the parents deserve some kudos for their choices! And at least they had the options of more normal middle names

Since I found out the names for [name]Rebel[/name]'s sisters and brother I’m slightly in love with their names. They are on my guilty pleasure list of baby names. I don’t think I could bring myself to using them as a child’s first name but they would make quirky middle names.

Of course, Ryot is a ridiculous name for a girl.

I know many people don’t like it, but [name]Rebel[/name] sounds pretty cool. Not just because of it’s meaning either… [name]Rebel[/name] is a cool name for either gender

Yeah, I feel like that’s a cheesy sibset, kind of tacky.

Annachi, is that supposed to be like Anarchy? If so, definitely not a fan.

I think their names are ace!! I mean if the parents like unusual and unique names! go for it!

Lets just say what were these parents thinking. [name]Liberty[/name] is the only one that is measly acceptable.

Ridiculous for a girl, ridiculous for a boy, just a ridiculous name in general.

The only one I’m fond of is [name]Liberty[/name]. Ryot and [name]Rebel[/name] are ridiculous.

I think they’re a very bogan family, which is the Australian way of saying chavs! Trashy! People who frequent Walmart and end up on that website lol. [name]Rebel[/name] has said as much in interviews.

Apparently, her real name is [name_f]Melanie[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] Bownds (receipts) – so I suppose the real names of her siblings are slightly more normal? This whole thing makes me so uncomfortable though. Hollywood’s ageism is so abhorrent. Actresses shouldn’t feel that it’s necessary to lie about their age.
