So of the recently born baby boys in my social circles, the long “O” sound is the most popular consistent element. I definitely knew it was popular but to get such confirmation from those around me is really interesting! Some great names too:
Has anyone else heard of new baby boys in their circles hear any fun O names? For context I live in a city on the [name_f]East[/name_f] Coast in [name_u]North[/name_u] [name_u]America[/name_u]
[name_u]Arlo[/name_u] seems to be very popular at the moment. I’ve also come across babies/toddlers in the last year or two named [name_m]Milo[/name_m], [name_u]Oak[/name_u], [name_m]Leo[/name_m] & [name_m]Odin[/name_m].
My boys, [name_m]Milo[/name_m] and [name_m]Otis[/name_m], were consciously named because I like the o sound so much. [name_u]Owen[/name_u] and [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] are also names I’m quite partial to.
Back in Germany I know a little [name_m]Benno[/name_m], and in the UK, several Olivers and [name_m]Leos[/name_m]
