[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all! I have a 15 year old daughter named [name_f]Celia[/name_f], a 2 and a half year old son named [name_m]Ewan[/name_m], and am expecting boy #2 in early [name_u]November[/name_u].
Boy names have proven especially hard for me. I like names that sound classic but are uncommon, but I have a much easier time finding old-fashioned girls’ names that feel worthy of resurrection. Here’s my current list of boy front-runners (not all of which necessarily fit that description):
[name_m]Amos[/name_m]
[name_u]Asa[/name_u]
[name_m]Casper[/name_m]
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m]
[name_m]Felix[/name_m]
[name_m]Grover[/name_m]
[name_m]Killian[/name_m]
[name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]
[name_m]Milo[/name_m]
[name_m]Oswald[/name_m]
[name_m]Rufus[/name_m]
[name_m]Rupert[/name_m]
Other names I really love but won’t be using for one reason or another (mostly that they’ve been used by people too close to us or are seeming to become too popular):
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u]
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
[name_m]Oscar[/name_m]
[name_m]Simon[/name_m]
My partner really likes biblical names, including [name_m]Sampson[/name_m], [name_m]Solomon[/name_m], and [name_m]Lazarus[/name_m]. I actually like the sound of [name_m]Lazarus[/name_m] quite a bit but worry that it’s a bit too out there.
So all this being said, I’d love to hear any suggestions for other names you think I might like! I’m having such a hard time finding anything I just absolutely love. Thanks!
