[name_u]Reed[/name_u] looks more legitimate to me [even though I know [name_u]Reid[/name_u] is also]
I prefer the [name_u]Reid[/name_u] spelling
I used to always prefer [name_u]Reid[/name_u] and I’m not sure why, but recently I’ve moved towards [name_u]Reed[/name_u]. I like the association with the plant.
I do wonder, however, if one is considered more “traditional” or has more of a history as a name…?
Same as above. I like that [name_u]Reed[/name_u] has the plant connotation. It’s more wearable that way, somehow : )
I prefer [name_u]Reid[/name_u] which is the usual surname spelling. “[name_u]Reed[/name_u]-like” is a description of a very thin person so I get that image before the plant. As a result, I also think that [name_u]Reid[/name_u] “looks” more stronger than [name_u]Reed[/name_u].
[name_u]Reid[/name_u] looks more substantial to me, and less like “weed.”
I prefer [name_u]Reid[/name_u] so it’s not also a word. Though I may be putting my foot in my mouth in a moment when I hit send and realize it is a word…
[name_f]Every[/name_f] time I see [name_u]Reid[/name_u] on paper I immediately hear “raid” in my head, not sure why. But for that reason, I prefer [name_u]Reed[/name_u].
I like [name_u]Reid[/name_u] better. Not sure why.
we are going with reed. i love the botanical reference and the fact it is associated with water. just works best w/ the names we already have in use.
either way, it’s a strong and classy name.
I voted [name_u]Reed[/name_u]. It will make the child’s life so much easier!
was my boyfriend’s name so I prefer it.
[name_u]Reed[/name_u] sounds too much like a component of a floral arrangement!
I prefer [name_u]Reid[/name_u] because it’s less like a word. [name_u]Reed[/name_u] reminds me of musical instruments that use reeds.
Congrats!
So happy that you chose [name_u]Reed[/name_u]. I think it fits in perfectly with your other names.
Good luck!
I like [name_u]Reid[/name_u] for a boy and [name_u]Reed[/name_u] for a girl
Definitely [name_u]Reid[/name_u].
