Reeser

What do you think of this extension of [name]Reese[/name]? Does it fit more for a boy or girl?

I would have thought the parent said “Greaser” and been very alarmed. Would say boy, but don’t like it for either gender, sorry.

Reeser doesn’t work in my book. [name]Reese[/name] by itself is fine. And I like it more for a boy, but it could definitely be either.

Really bad either way. Sounds like Reefer.

I find the extra ‘r’ unnecessary. As previous poster stated, I also thought of ‘Greaser’ and “Reefer”.

However, if you are serious about using the name, I would suggest it for a boy.

I think [name]Reese[/name]/[name]Rhys[/name] is much better. I really doesn’t need the extra R.

I think it’s…odd. It sounds like a verb, like ‘a person who reeses’, or something.

Reeser is a surname and not one I can picture on a boy or girl as a fn

I guess for a boy…
But if I heard the name aloud, I might thinks Greaser/Weezer/Reefer before getting it. I think [name]Reese[/name] is a great name on its own, for a boy or a girl.

I like [name]Rhys[/name] best without extensions or respellings.

I prefer [name]Rhys[/name] or [name]Reese[/name]. I thought “greaser” right away as soon as I saw the title as well. I don’t mind surnames as first names, but I think that this one is unappealing and unnecessary.

I also find the extra R unnecessary. It sounds like multiple words - greaser, racer, eraser and reefer. I like [name]Reese[/name] and Reesa.
