Reeve

After reading two books in which a main character was named [name]Reeve[/name] (r-EE-ve) I have grown to really like it, but what is your opinion?

It’s a medieval occupation name. Reminds me of [name]Chaucer[/name]. However, it has a nice, crisp, rather posh sound.

I really really like it (as you can see in my siggy); I find it has that crisp, masculine sound without being super macho and trendy. I also see it as a more masculine version of [name]Reese[/name], which is feminine to me.

I don’t dislike it, but all I think of is the Final [name]Fantasy[/name] VII character!

I quite like it! Its different but wouldnt be to weird next to a bunch of kids called [name]Rhys[/name]/[name]Reese[/name]/[name]Reece[/name]!

I don’t really like it. [name]Reece[/name] is a lot more manly.

I really like [name]Reeve[/name] and think it’s a smoother version of [name]Rhys[/name].

I went to school with a boy named [name]Reeve[/name]. I like it; it’s sleek, unique, and easy to spell and pronounce. It’s a good alternative if you’re concerned about the unisex sound of [name]Reece[/name]/[name]Rhys[/name]
The only issue my friend had was occasionally people would mishear his name and call him [name]Steve[/name] but other than that he had no troubles.

I greatly prefer [name]Reese[/name]/[name]Rhys[/name].

I love [name]Reeve[/name]. It’s such a fabulously cool, timeless name.

[name]Love[/name] reeve.

I love [name]Reeve[/name], way more than [name]Reece[/name]/[name]Rhys[/name]/[name]Reece[/name].

I’d prefer [name]Rhys[/name] or [name]Rhett[/name].

And maybe [name]Reed[/name], which I don’t normally like that much.

I didn’t realize how much I like [name]Reeve[/name] until reading this post. I like [name]Reeve[/name] better than [name]Reese[/name] and [name]Reid[/name]. It has a crisp, energetic, masculine feel about it.
