Reeve

Hello everyone!
I live in the US and have been trying to come up with gender neutral first names. I recently thought of [name_u]Reeve[/name_u] and it doesnt seem to have much popularity (like Reese/Reece).

Thoughts on [name_u]Reeve[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]? (Incidentally I also like [name_u]Everett[/name_u] with [name_f]Evie[/name_f] as a NN and [name_f]Evie[/name_f] could be the NN for [name_u]Reeve[/name_u] although it is already 1 syllable)

Thanks!

i like reeve! it does lean masculine for me a little, but not majorly. if you don’t love it, you might like the similar reverie or revere?

reeve elizabeth is a gorgeous combo!

[name_u]Reeve[/name_u] is lovely and I really like [name_u]Reeve[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]

It’s a little grinding to the ear for my taste. [name_f]Riva[/name_f] has the same vibe and means “from the shore” whereas as [name_u]Reeve[/name_u] means bailiff. But also if you really like Evie…Eve [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] or [name_f]Evie[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] just sounds better and is easier overall.

Where I live a [name_u]Reeve[/name_u] is a county official similar to the mayor so it is a title and maybe not suitable for a first name but I think it would be fine in the middle spot.
