We thought that I was having supply issues but it turns out my little guy is teething and might have a little reflux!
Dr gave us ranitidine to try and see if it helps his mood.
A couple questions-
If it DOES help… I’m nervous about keeping him on it for a long period of time. Thoughts?
Also- it smells like listerine- normal? [name_f]My[/name_f] little guy makes the most disgusted face and gets all quiet when I give it to him!

[name_f]My[/name_f] youngest was on Zantac for around 5 months, starting when she was just a few weeks old. Our doctor said for us to sort of play it by ear with how long to keep her on it, as most babies outgrow the reflux before they turn one. I’d assume that it’d be the same way with your baby. I made sure to keep mentioning it at every well baby visit to make sure I wasn’t keeping her on it for too long. [name_u]Rory[/name_u] was much happier and easier to take care of when we started the Zantac. She was so miserable before she started it and wasn’t feeding well at all. Also, I actually tasted [name_u]Rory[/name_u]'s Zantac, and it did taste horrible! [name_u]Rory[/name_u]'s smelled like Listerine, too, so I assume that’s how it should taste/smell. Good luck!
