I am wondering if you guys think the name [name_f]Regal[/name_f] is too ‘uneek’.
The reason we want to use it is because it would honour both my father and grand father who ran a cattle ranch together called [name_m]Black[/name_m] [name_f]Regal[/name_f] [name_m]Angus[/name_m].
Could it be a good first name or more suited for a middle name?
Some other names we like are [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] and [name_m]Louie[/name_m].
I think it’s fine as a middle name, but feels a bit tacky as a first name. Why not use [name_m]Angus[/name_m]? Or [name_m]Blackwell[/name_m] for [name_m]Black[/name_m], again as a middle name. [name_m]Basil[/name_m] is a name that means regal.
It’s too much in my opinion, sounds like something a kardashian would name a child.
Maybe you could use [name_m]Reginald[/name_m]? It contains all the same letters with a few extra.
I do like [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] but not a fan of [name_m]Louie[/name_m] because of four vowels in a row. [name_m]Louis[/name_m] nn [name_m]Louie[/name_m] is nice.
It does have special meaning for your family but I think it feels too Kardashian, and maybe trying too hard, for a first name because people he meets along the way won’t have any idea of the connection. I would suggest using it in the middle spot.
I’m not really a fan of [name_f]Regal[/name_f] as a first name or a middle name, I would use [name_m]Angus[/name_m] or [name_m]Blackwell[/name_m] instead for a middle name.
[name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] [name_m]Angus[/name_m]
[name_m]Louie[/name_m] [name_m]Blackwell[/name_m]
seem great to me!
