Regina Elisabetta Gloriana

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] y’all,
So I have write a short story for my creative writing class where I create my own character that is from a certain time period. I was assigned to come up with a character from the Renaissance era so like the 1500s/1600s, and I have to choose a famous/ historical person from that time period to base my character off of.

So basically I decided to base my character off of [name_f]Queen[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] I, and I think I’m gonna name my character [name_f]Regina[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f] Gloriana.

What do y’all think of the name [name_f]Regina[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f] Gloriana? and please leave any other name suggestions you might have.

honestly that name is a mouthful but totally rockin’! regina is one of my fave names of all time. also, with long names like that i like to consider what all the names mean together. obviously those mean “queen elizabeth the glorious” but can also mean “queen of glorious oaths” since elizabeth means oath.

one of my fave name combos is flavia regina iris, which all together can mean “queen of the golden rainbow” or “golden queen of the rainbow”.

there’s also the name of the actress evangeline lilly, whose full name (nicole evangeline lilly) technically means “victorious messenger of purity”

Here are some names popular during the [name_m]Tudor[/name_m] period:
