When you hear the name [name_u]Reid[/name_u] or [name_u]Reed[/name_u], do you assume it’s spelled one way or the other? Or do you not assume one spelling over the other?
I assume [name_u]Reid[/name_u]. Oh & I think it’s a great name!

I also assume [name_u]Reid[/name_u], as that’s the spelling I’ve seen the most. I prefer that spelling too, as it looks the most like an actual name. It’s a solid choice - cute on a kid, but works for an adult too.
I guess I am outnumbered- I think of “[name_u]Reed[/name_u].”
I see [name_u]Reid[/name_u] as a surname and [name_u]Reed[/name_u] as a nature/adjective name (reed of grass, reed-like or thin in appearance). I vastly prefer [name_u]Reid[/name_u].
I assume [name_u]Reid[/name_u] because it’s the spelling I see most often. I honestly prefer [name_u]Reed[/name_u] though.
I assume and prefer [name_u]Reed[/name_u] and I’m bias because that’s how my brother spells it. I think of [name_u]Reid[/name_u] as a surname and [name_u]Reed[/name_u] as a first name.

I don’t think I would necessarily assume it was spelled one way or the other, but I would probably hope it was spelled [name_u]Reid[/name_u], just because that’s my personal preference.
