We just found out we are having boy! We have a daughter ([name_f]Raya[/name_f] pronounced [name_u]Ray[/name_u]-uh) and our last name is Muttalif.
The only names we both can agree on are [name_u]Reid[/name_u] and [name_m]Zane[/name_m]. He also likes [name_u]Dean[/name_u], but I’m not as sure about it. Any thoughts on what combination of those names would sound best? Also open to other suggestions!
I prefer [name_u]Reid[/name_u]. Of your two combos though, I prefer the flow of [name_m]Zane[/name_m] [name_u]Reid[/name_u] Mu… I think [name_u]Reid[/name_u] and [name_m]Zane[/name_m] need a 2+ syllable middle to flow the best.
I prefer [name_m]Zane[/name_m] over [name_u]Reid[/name_u]. [name_m]Zane[/name_m] [name_u]Reid[/name_u] sounds okay, but I think a middle name with two or more syllables would sound better.
[name_m]Zane[/name_m] is not my style but I think it sounds better with yours daughter’s name, actually. I like [name_f]Raya[/name_f] and [name_m]Zane[/name_m] as a sibset.
I’m not fan of [name_m]Zane[/name_m] [name_u]Reid[/name_u] because I immediately think of [name_m]Duane[/name_m] [name_u]Reade[/name_u], the drug store.
I love both so much! I would pick [name_m]Zane[/name_m] just because then you don’t have two R’s and I think [name_m]Zane[/name_m] & [name_f]Raya[/name_f] go wonderfully together
[name_m]Zane[/name_m] [name_u]Reid[/name_u] is cute, and has a better flow than [name_u]Reid[/name_u] [name_m]Zane[/name_m]! It would be best with a 2 syllable or longer middle name though.
