I think [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] goes best with your last name. [name_u]Reid[/name_u] would be my #2 for you. [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] is on my top boys’ list now. I polled several family members (all in the Midwest, US) and they knew how to pronounce it. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband didn’t at first though! He likes it now that he knows
Personally, I wouldn’t use it with any other spelling, because I’m generally not a fan of unisex names, and [name_u]Reece[/name_u]/[name_u]Reese[/name_u] have both been used for girls. Granted, it doesn’t matter when saying the name. Good luck!
[name_u]Reid[/name_u] is the easiest to say with your surname for me. [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] is nice but (well I’m not english) I always want to say [name_u]Rice[/name_u]. All of them fit [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] well.
[name_m]Pierce[/name_m] [name_m]Brenner[/name_m] sounds too much like [name_m]Pierce[/name_m] [name_m]Brosnan[/name_m] to me.
If you anticipate trouble with the [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] then I think [name_u]Reid[/name_u] [name_m]Brenner[/name_m] works great.
I voted for [name_u]Reid[/name_u]. It feels the most substantial to me. It’s solid, handsome and equal parts strong and soft. I think this is the best one on your list.
Honestly, [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] always throws me a bit off - I have no idea why but I always think that it is somehow lopsided - heavy in the front and droopy in the back. Clearly as aesthetic thing.
[name_m]Pierce[/name_m] never feels complete to me as a single name it’s one of those names where I’d be tempted to always include the ln. Like [name_m]Pierce[/name_m] [name_m]Brosnan[/name_m], I’d be tempted to always call your son [name_m]Pierce[/name_m] [name_m]Brenner[/name_m] - which is why I wouldn’t choose [name_m]Peirce[/name_m] as a first name.
I really like [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] and [name_u]Reid[/name_u] together.
I love all three, with [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] I like [name_u]Reid[/name_u] best.
Also, how do you find out how many male vs female Reids were born last year? Would be helpful to know that and also the alternate spelling [name_u]Reed[/name_u]…
[name_u]Reid[/name_u] is great with [name_m]Lucas[/name_m]!
[name_u]Reid[/name_u] [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] [name_m]Brenner[/name_m] sounds best to me. I know that [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] is [name_u]Reese[/name_u]/[name_u]Reece[/name_u], but I know a lot of people mispronounce it. I prefer [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] spelled that way as a middle name in general.
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u] (this spelling only) is my favorite, and I like it best with your last name. Only hesitation is that [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] and [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] both end in s, but actually they look great together!
