Please can I have your thoughts on the name Remi as a sister to our daughter Zara?
I like the idea of them being a bit different as I’m not a massive fan of overly matchy names, however could you see them as sisters? What vibes does Remi give you?
And lastly do you have any middle name suggestions? If you have came across my posts over the last few months you’ll see we have been torn over Scarlett as a first… but could it work as a middle?
*edited to add- Zara’s mn is Kate which is a family name, and we don’t really have any other family names we’d like to use.
I absolutely love [name_f]Remi[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], it’s got modern femininity and pizzazz! I think that [name_f]Zara[/name_f] and [name_f]Remi[/name_f] make good siblings. They’ve got cohesiveness in letter length and energy but they aren’t matchy at all. They’re pleasantly unexpected together, but they gel.
I think [name_f]Zara[/name_f] and [name_f]Remi[/name_f], whilst unexpected, make a sweet pair of sisters! As pp mentioned, they have cohesion in letter length and I think that ties them together nicely!
[name_f]Remi[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] is cool!
[name_f]Remi[/name_f] is lovely - stylish and contemporary. [name_f]Remi[/name_f] and [name_f]Zara[/name_f] are quite different, yet they both have a bright, cool feel, that work well. [name_f]Remi[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] is great!
[name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_f]Remi[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] are cool, and I think they work well together!
You could definitely use that.
[name_f]Remi[/name_f] definitely has the same bohemian vibes as [name_f]Zara[/name_f]! Personally, I prefer [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] as a first name for a sister to [name_f]Zara[/name_f]. [name_f]Zara[/name_f] is such a strong, complete name, and [name_f]Remi[/name_f] feels somewhat incomplete to me, while [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] absolutely stands on its own. However, [name_f]Remi[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] is a beautiful combo, if that’s the direction you decide to go!
I think [name_f]Remi[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] is a really fashionable choice that feels modern and stylish. [name_f]Remi[/name_f] ticks a lot of trends the name is unisex, looks visually attractive and has a fun European flair. I think [name_f]Remi[/name_f] + Zar@ are surprising as a sibling set however they both feel fashion forward which provides a cohesive vibe. I think in my head [name_f]Romy[/name_f] feels slightly more cohesive with Zar@ just as she has a more traditional feel but ultimately I like eclectic sibling sets so if you love [name_f]Remi[/name_f] go for it.
[name_f]Remi[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] is cute, but it doesn’t really go with [name_f]Zara[/name_f], they are two very different name vibes that don’t mesh
I think it goes very well with [name_f]Zara[/name_f] - a perfect choice for wanting something stylistically different yet not jarring as they are unified by a zippy feel, letter and syllable count. They are contrasting yet complementary.
I’m not going to offer any further middle suggestions as I think it’s a case of look no further - [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] was previously your number one choice of first, so I think it warrants at least being used as a middle .
