If you could rename yourself, what would you be? Why? Would you keep the same initials, middle name, last name? Here’s mine:
Old names: [name]Melody[/name] [name]Joy[/name]. I’d change [name]Melody[/name] because even my 11-week-old is more musically inclined than I. I’d change [name]Joy[/name] because it has put a bit of a strain on me, and I always thought it was an old lady name.
New Names: (Of course, this is theoretical, because I can’t imagine going by another name.) [name]Lucie[/name] [name]Addison[/name]. I love [name]Lucie[/name] spelled that way (but I wouldn’t insist on it) and [name]Addison[/name] on a girl.
My hubby’s:
Old Name: [name]Richard[/name]. I’d change it because I don’t like the nickname [name]Ricky[/name], and almost everyone calls me it.
New Name: [name]Thomas[/name]. I love the nickname [name]Tom[/name].
ooh how fun! Well, I’d definitely change my first name, no question about that! I’d keep my middle name though, I love it.
Original First Name: [name]Lyndsay[/name]
New First Name: i have three options, one that my mom was seriously considering naming me, so i always thought of it as something that might have been my name. [name]Elizabeth[/name]… I’d probably choose the nickname [name]Libby[/name]. The next Lulette, which was my great-grandmother’s name and I would have loved to be my name. Last, one that has nothing to do with anything but I just have always thought would fit me oh so well, [name]Scarlett[/name]. I’d make the perfect [name]Scarlett[/name].
Original Middle Name: Jenness
New Middle Name: If for some reason I decided to change my middle name I’d probably pick [name]Faye[/name], because I love it. Or else [name]May[/name] for my grandmother.
Last Name: I always wished my last name was [name]Tyler[/name], because it’s almost the same as my real last name but a little cooler. Now I’m married and I’d change my last name to Bexley, same story as with [name]Tyler[/name], except this is a lot cooler.
So, hmm, I guess if I had to actually pick one it’d be [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Faye[/name] Bexley… that could so totally be my name.
Wow… about your middle names, my grandmother and her twin sister are [name]Faye[/name] and [name]Mae[/name]. [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Faye[/name] Bexley. I like it!
Instead of Chuka [name]Susan[/name], I’d be [name]Susan[/name] [name]Grace[/name] or [name]Susannah[/name] [name]Grace[/name]. I love the name [name]Grace[/name] because that was my nice aunt’s name. [name]Susan[/name] means lily and my maternal grandmother was named [name]Lillian[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name]. But I love being Chuka [name]Susan[/name] because I know in my bones that it is my true name. [name]Don[/name]‘t call me Chuka though, please! I just like to see Chuka [name]Susan[/name] on my checks and drivers’ license.
I’d love to rename myself…my first name is one no one can spell even though it’s an old fashioned name.
Original 1st Name: Arrealia - it’s a completely different spelling of [name]Aurelia[/name]. It’s my mom’s former best friend’s middle name.
New Name: [name]Deborah[/name]- My mom’s former friend’s 1st name. She told my parents they could use anything but that…she hated being called [name]Debby[/name]. I’d rather that than ReeRee anyday.
I would keep my middle name [name]Anne[/name] because it came from my grandmother [name]Annabell[/name], who raised me.
On second thought, I guess I would keep it all the same. I was named after some pretty fantastic women. It pays tribute to them the way my daughter’s name pays tribute to my mom.
LOL. Been wanting to do that since I was about 10 and got into names.
My name is [name]Julie[/name] [name]Anne[/name] [name]Nolan[/name]. I like the meaning of my last name and all, but I think my first and middle name is kinda boring.
So lately I have fallen in love with the name Katrielle [name]Grace[/name] [name]Kingston[/name]. I know the middle name is almost as common as my real middle name, but I love the flow of it. I adore both my first and last name choices, mostly for meaning, but I like how it sounds together too. Katrielle [name]Kingston[/name].
My name is [name]Kayla[/name] [name]Maree[/name] and I actually quite like it. I like how [name]Maree[/name] is an original spelling and different to the usual [name]Marie[/name] although [name]Marie[/name] is more feminine. I would change my name to [name]Kate[/name] [name]Maree[/name] as [name]Kate[/name] is more simple and traditional and [name]Kayla[/name] is very modern and trendy. [name]Katherine[/name] would also be another option for me with the middle name being [name]Grace[/name].
Current name: [name]Julia[/name] [name]Faith[/name]. This name is ok, but i like names that aren’t in the top 100.
New name: Aranea [name]Faith[/name]. I love this name (pronounced a-rah-nyah). My aunt always wanted to name a daughter this, but she had only boys. What do you guys think?
Well i have been fairly lucky with my name… It is [name]Emma[/name] [name]Maree[/name]. I hate my last name though and can’t wait to change it!
I’m not a big fan of being called [name]Em[/name] though…
If i had to change my first name i’d call myself [name]Charlotte[/name] nn [name]Charlee[/name] cos i love it. [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Georgia[/name] i think.
My partner is [name]Brock[/name] [name]Curtis[/name] and he hates his name. He has always wanted to be [name]Curtis[/name] instead or [name]Logan[/name]…(which we named our son.) Luckily i was able to talk him out of [name]Caspar[/name].
[name]Octavia[/name] [name]Violet[/name] [name]Wellington[/name].
I was going to be an [name]Octavia[/name], [name]Violet[/name] is not as overused as my current middle name (but is still a floral name, and also honors various family members), and I just love the last name [name]Wellington[/name] for some reason.
I could be a [name]Phoebe[/name] but i dont like it that much i think i could work as a Thistle it is my indian name i am half native american so at my tibal meatings i am Thistle but in everyday life my name is sophie it fits me and i will always keep it
Real Name: [name]Stephanie[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
New Name: [name]Samantha[/name] (The name my parents almost gave me) [name]Jane[/name] (my gramma’s middle name)
I would changed my first name to [name]Brianna[/name] (Br-E-ah-nah) because that is what my mom wanted to name me. I like it so much more than [name]Tera[/name]. NN: [name]Bri[/name]. I would keep my middle name, [name]Chloe[/name] (kah-lo) because I was named after my grandmother, Chloerina. I would change my last name to MacNamara just because it sounds cool.
[name]Brianna[/name] [name]Chloe[/name] MacNamara
[name]Bri[/name] MacNamara

[name]Bri[/name] MacNamara
My name was almost [name]Rio[/name], after the [name]Duran[/name] [name]Duran[/name] song that my mother was/still is so obsessed with! [name]Silly[/name] as it may seem, I have always loved that name and have secretly wished she would have gone with it instead of [name]Kristen[/name] So I would rename myself to [name]Rio[/name] [name]Kristen[/name]!
my name is [name]Emily[/name] [name]MAe[/name]- i hate [name]Emily[/name] because it is WAYYYY to popular i would change it to [name]Adelaide[/name] [name]Caitlyn[/name] becuase they areboth beautiful names

old name: TyLyn [name]Nicole[/name]
I’d change it because no one seems to know how to say it or spell it.
new name: [name]Charley[/name] [name]Belle[/name]
[name]Charley[/name] because it was a choice when my parents were picking my name (after my grandmother, [name]Charlotte[/name]) and because I love the name [name]Charley[/name] for a girl. And [name]Belle[/name] because I just love it for a middle name.
Old Name: [name]Kaylah[/name] [name]Savannah[/name]
I love my first name, especially the spelling but it’s not over the top but no one else has it. My middle is okay but I don’t really like it because [name]KaylAH[/name] [name]SavannAH[/name] always looked and sounded weird to me.
New Name:
[name]Athena[/name] [name]Katherine[/name]. My friends still call me [name]Athena[/name] after an incident in which a teacher thought I looked just like a picture of the goddess [name]Athena[/name] she’d seen and proceeded to call me [name]Athena[/name] for the rest of the year, it just fits me I guess. And [name]Katherine[/name] because I love the name and I can still use the nickname [name]Kay[/name].
This is super hard, because even though I don’t love my name it’s hard to imagine a name that would feel more ‘me’.
For most other names I have a picture in my head of the kind of person it represents, and it’s never me.
My name is [name]Kimberly[/name], I go by [name]Kim[/name]. I do really like the name [name]Kit[/name], but I hate [name]Kathy[/name] so I don’t know that I would like [name]Katherine[/name]. Also, [name]Kit[/name] is so close to my current name that it’s probably a rip off just because it feels similar.
I also could imagine going by [name]Eve[/name]. Though that feels a bit more luxurious than I am
[name]Faye[/name] is another I think is pretty, but maybe too soft.
[name]Kay[/name] is also lovely, though I suppose I could go by that now if I wanted to.
I do believe I’m overthinking this.
[name]Kit[/name] Emary
[name]Kay[/name] [name]Lark[/name]
