Hello, I wasn’t sure were to put this topic, so sorry if it is the wrong place.
But I need a new name for my pullip (a doll, sort of) and her current name is Lousianna [name]Valentino[/name] and I came up with that 3 years ago. I am not happy with the name anymore and I just prefer to call her [name]Lou[/name], which kind of reminds me of my cat [name]Lulu[/name].
I have two pictures, where you can see how she looks, as it’s quite hard to describe.
Her background story goes something like this:
Her parents got betrothed when very young and always grew up knowing who to marry. [name]Both[/name] parents came from a wealthy family in [name]Rome[/name] and so did their children. [name]Lou[/name] is one of the last children they had out of 7, which wasn’t really uncommon in the 1700s. She only had another sister, who was very sick and died within five years of her life. Of course she was blessed with her family, and as she grew up and got more conscious about the world around her, she knew that marriage wasn’t her thing.
[name]Both[/name] her and her parents made an agreement, that [name]Lou[/name] should become nun/priestess, if she didn’t like the idea of marriage. So by the time she was 14, her parents send her away, to let her live that life that she yearned for.
[name]Till[/name] she was in her early twenties she lived at the church, but one day a young man found her and “stole” her life. [name]Ever[/name] since then she has lived as a vampire, hidden.
And yes, I gave her a background story, because the writer in me couldn’t resist. But her name does not need to be “related” to her vampiric existence. Please help? :3
What about [name]Lily[/name], Tallullah, [name]Clara[/name], [name]June[/name], [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Alanna[/name]…
I really really loathe Tallullah (sorry!), and I don’t know why. [name]Clara[/name] is too uh… I don’t remember the word, but she is not very frilly and girlish.
[name]Eloise[/name], isn’t it French? o.o
[name]Alanna[/name] I can’t wrap a young Italian girl with that name. Sorry.
[name]Lily[/name]-[name]Imogen[/name] is in my thoughts to her, but it’s seems to modern.
[name]Just[/name] thought I’d share her siblings names too!
[name]Cicero[/name] [name]Valentino[/name]
[name]Flavian[/name] [name]Valentino[/name]
[name]Septimus[/name] [name]Valentino[/name]
[name]Mimosa[/name] [name]Valentino[/name]
[name]Lou[/name]
[name]Fabian[/name] [name]Valentino[/name]
[name]Caesar[/name] [name]Valentino[/name]
What about [name]Lucia[/name] (prn Loo-chee-uh)? That way it fits the [name]Roman[/name] theme and you can still call her [name]Lu[/name]. Or [name]Lucy[/name]. In fact, looking at her picture, she looks like a [name]Lucy[/name], which is also a [name]Roman[/name] name (St. [name]Lucy[/name]).
[name]Sylvia[/name] might also fit the [name]Roman[/name] sibset, and [name]Louisa[/name] could fit the [name]Lou[/name] nn.
[name]Lucia[/name], heh, that prn. is how it is in Denmark where I come from. ^^ - reminds me of the 13 [name]December[/name], where girls wear lights in their hair and sing the song.
[name]Louisa[/name] is a no go - friends a female [name]Louise[/name].
I’d say [name]Lucia[/name] or [name]Lucy[/name].
