Renaming myself, got any advice?

My Name is [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Jenifer[/name] [name]Martin[/name].
Over the years I’ve gotten tired of hearing my name yelled only to find it was for another [name]Sarah[/name], I’d like to Change both my first and middle name to something more uncommon, and more me. I like classic and kind of out there names, but really i’ll go with anything not as common.

My mom wants me to keep my first name and just change my middle name and go by that but i don’t know, I kind of want to just drop both and start fresh with something i pick for myself, with some help.

I love the name [name]Sarah[/name], so I would personally agree with your mum and advise you to keep your first name and then maybe give yourself two middle names instead?

What do you think about nicknames for [name]Sarah[/name]? [name]Sadie[/name], [name]Sally[/name], [name]Sari[/name], or [name]Sasa[/name]? You could keep [name]Sarah[/name] and go by a nickname, and then change your middle to something more unique!

WDYT of [name]Seraphina[/name]/[name]Seraphine[/name]? It’s not that common and you’d be able to save a part of your old FN as your mom suggests.

I like [name]Elaine[/name], but I know a lot of women by that name. You might find it’s not that uncommon either. I really like pp suggestion of [name]Sadie[/name] or [name]Seraphine[/name]/a. [name]Willow[/name] is also very pretty. You could also change your name to [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Guinevere[/name] or some other variation of [name]Jennifer[/name] and go by your middle.

Perhaps you could go with the same initials. I’m sure your Mom says she’s okay with you changing your name (or at least part of your name), but of course she still loves the name she originally gave you. I’m not trying to discourage you (I know the pain of having a very common name), but maybe keeping your current initials would help appease her.
