[name_f]My[/name_f] kiddo is nonbinary and has switched to they/them pronouns. They are interested in trying out some new names. We’re looking for something with a similar feel to their birth name, [name_f]Isolde[/name_f], but with a different first letter/sound. They want something neutral and would prefer masculine leaning over feminine. I have strong [name_u]Irish[/name_u] and [name_u]French[/name_u] ancestry which reflects in some of my kids’ names. Other parent has [name_f]English[/name_f], [name_m]German[/name_m], and other European heritage but no real ties to it. The names we’ve used in the past have a mix of literary, mythological, and nature influences. I do have another trans child, I will include her dead name on the list for a complete overview.
I am nonbinary myself and use they/them pronouns as well with he occasionally.
My list I considered for myself was leaning masculine too and somehow similar to the tastes of you and your child.
Some ideas are below.
Isidore / Isadore
August
Jules
Lysander
Bennet(t)
Ambrose
Nikola / Nicola
Leonce
Evander

Eren
Claude / Claudio

Anastasios (well, Anastasie is gender neutral, look at BtN, but maybe in your context sounds too femenine)
Rowan
Leo
Gabriel
Raphael
Baptiste
Azaris
Julian
I suggest:
Irish names
Italian and French surnames
French gender neutral names (I made a thread in that, can give you the link)
Russian gender neutral nicknames
Names ending in -in / -ine sound
Welsh names in -ys
Names of angels
Names of Pharaohs / Greek mythology names
Month/season/weekday names (not just English). Work best as middles imo.
