Renaming Samson and Delilah?

I’m sort of redoing the [name]Samson[/name] and [name]Delilah[/name] story, looking at it from a new prospective and in a more modern time period.
Does anyone have suggestions for their names? I’ve just been using [name]Samson[/name] and [name]Delilah[/name], but I don’t want them to stay [name]Samson[/name] and [name]Delilah[/name].
I would like their names to be classic, and the only name I’ve considered so far was [name]Elizabeth[/name] for [name]Delilah[/name], but it feels a bit… plain.

Not sure about other names for [name]Samson[/name].

[name]How[/name] about [name]Veronica[/name] or [name]Victoria[/name] for [name]Delilah[/name]? Sinewy, captivating with a little edge of steel and sneak to them.

I personally really like the look of [name]Sampson[/name] a lot more than [name]Samson[/name]…it’s also a rare sight–even compared to [name]Samson[/name]!
I did think of [name]Solomon[/name] & [name]Lila[/name]/[name]Lyla[/name]…

    Or switch them around, so to speak:
  • [name]Dean[/name]/[name]David[/name] & [name]Samantha[/name] (for example)
