I was going through my girls’ list and was trying to figure out a way to pick out the perfect name. So I started looking for a name I would love to have if I could rename myself. That was tougher than I thought. It seems like every day it changes! Today, if I could rename myself I would be [name]Tabitha[/name], while yesterday it was [name]Elizabeth[/name] and the day before that [name]Elowen[/name].
Today I chose [name]Tabitha[/name] because it feels old and a little whimsical. [name]Love[/name] the nickname [name]Tabby[/name].
If you could rename yourself by picking a name from your girls’ list what would it be?
Ehm, probably [name]Liliana[/name]. Mainly because I’ve thought about [name]Lily[/name] as a super contrived nn from my own name, and I think it really suits me. So probably [name]Liliana[/name] nn [name]Lily[/name]. Although I do think I maybe could wear [name]Arianne[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], or [name]Hannah[/name], too… Honestly, I don’t think most of them suit me like [name]Ashley[/name] does, but I would love to have any of those as my name.
Hmm - interesting question. I don’t ave an official “list”, but I couldn’t see myself changing my name! I always feel weird when i try to think of myself as anything other than a [name]Cassandra[/name] ([name]Cassie[/name]). [name]Alice[/name], maybe? O-o
Interesting, yes. But I have to admit that, I will be a bit dissapointed if you feel like you need to change your name. As far as I remember, yours are so pretty.
For the question… I think my name really suits me, so I don’t have any plan to change it. But if I really have to, I’ll probably choose something close, like from [name]Cynthia[/name] [name]Angelina[/name] to [name]Luna[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name]. I love [name]Luna[/name] (it’s already my pen name), and [name]Evangeline[/name] is in my list for future daughter’s mn.
I’m actually in the process of renaming myself, and I’ve considered every single one of my girls names for myself at least once!
I would absolutely adore being an [name]Alessandra[/name], but I realised I’d love to give such a beautifully perfect name to a daughter so I’m saving it for her. (That might be a bit weird, but it’s the truth)
That being said, I’ve seriously considered multiple times: [name]Elena[/name], [name]Gabriela[/name], [name]Victoria[/name], [name]Seraphina[/name], [name]Vittoria[/name] and [name]Olivia[/name]. [name]Rose[/name] was considered very briefly, as was [name]Katerina[/name].
After [name]Alessandra[/name], I’d next love to be a [name]Vittoria[/name], but the Italian variant brings about many issues in my country. Misspelling, mispronunciations, explanations etc. It’s too complex of a name to bear, I think. Still adore it though.
Many other girls names I have on my long list I like enough to consider for myself: [name]Emma[/name], [name]Natalie[/name]/[name]Natalia[/name], [name]Adriana[/name], [name]Allegra[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], to name a few.
I’ve actually never thought about this before (but I’ve always loved my own name too much to consider changing it). Today, I think I’d choose either [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Holly[/name] or [name]Alice[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name].
Hm. I might choose [name]Alice[/name], since it’s got much of the same feeling as my own name. Maybe [name]Enid[/name], though my husband hates it… I think we grow into our names, so I wouldn’t want to go with anything too far afield, like [name]Xenia[/name]. Might have strange affects on my life!
I love my name [name]Zoey[/name], and wouldn’t change it. [name]Ever[/name]. Though I have now fallen in love with spelling [name]Zoie[/name] and plan on changing it. Anyway, if I would change it, I would probably change it to [name]Cassidy[/name] (not [name]Cassandra[/name], too clunky. [name]Cassie[/name] for short).
Actually, I’d be renaming myself from my boys’ list ;). Today I think I’d rechristen myself [name]Peregrine[/name]. I love the eccentric, quirky feel and the nickname [name]Perry[/name] is completely my style. Other days, however, I’ve thought that [name]Nicholas[/name] or [name]Rowan[/name] would fit my personality as well.
From my list for [name]Baby[/name]: I think I could pull of [name]Clemency[/name], [name]Berenice[/name], [name]Eugenie[/name], [name]Signe[/name], [name]Lydia[/name], [name]Constance[/name], possibly [name]Roksana[/name], [name]Oriana[/name] [name]Maris[/name] and [name]Idony[/name].
I love my names so I would choose something similar to what my parents chose for me: [name]Signe[/name] [name]Roksana[/name] or [name]Oriana[/name] [name]Constance[/name].
If I could choose from my list that’s not intended for [name]Baby[/name] I would do [name]Nesta[/name] [name]Odile[/name] or [name]Ines[/name] [name]Orenda[/name].
A lot of people chose [name]Alice[/name]! I would have to go with [name]Alice[/name], it was my parent’s second choice for my name and a family name. I love it, kind of old school and quirky but not to out there, solid
I’m definatly an [name]Angelika[/name] [name]Rose[/name] (nn [name]Angel[/name]), but if I could change my name it’d probably be to either [name]Olive[/name] [name]Madeline[/name] or [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] (nn Mealie), maybe [name]Alice[/name]?.. Ha the name list goes on >.<
