I’m quite massively in love with [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] right now, and have been looking for a combo. A couple have piqued my interest ([name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_u]Eden[/name_u], [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_u]Eden[/name_u], [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Emmanuelle[/name_f]), but [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] is my favorite.
I hesitate to commit, though, because, in general, I’m not a [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] fan. In general, I’ve always found it to sound whiny, spoiled, a bit petulant, and selfish. (Which is unfortunate, because, theoretically, it’s a beautiful name, but I can’t seem to shake the image!) So even though I really like [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] together (and like that [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] in this combo reminds me of my sister, whose favorite color has, historically, been red), but I feel like eventually I’d grow to regret it since I dislike [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] so much elsewhere. I used to like [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_u]Eden[/name_u] and [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Emmanuelle[/name_f] a lot, but I’m rather bored with them these days, so that leaves me with just about nothing.
Does anyone feel like offering up some brilliant [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] combos? I tend to love names with an international flair–especially in the mn spot!–but I’m pretty sure I’d take anything at this point. 
(Or should I just stick to [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]? She just seems so girly and spunky!)

I like [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]. Neither name is something I’m especially fond of, but there’s no reason I shouldn’t like each name individually. Visually, this combination is very appealing to me. The double letters look very nice together and I love how the combo starts with a “T” and ends with one too. The repeated “S” sounds, though, make it a little unpleasant to say out loud.

I’ll keep [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] in case I can’t find anything else, but I dislike the idea of adding a name as a MN to my list that I fairly strongly dislike in general (this seems to happen to me all the time–I’m the same way with [name_m]Eli[/name_m], and yet, here I am, considering [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] [name_m]Pacificus[/name_m] [name_m]Eli[/name_m]!).
I’m intrigued by [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f], [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] (omgoodness, I adore [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f]!), and [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f]! And I love [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] and am intrigued by Liveva (@123names, do you know anything about it?), but I’m not sure I love them with [name_f]Tessa[/name_f].

@ashthedreamer, I first heard about Liveva about a week and a half ago when I saw it on britishbabynames.com in one of her names musings posts where she provided some information about it. I was also quite intrigued!
The name is fine, but there are a lot of Tessas and Scarletts out there and you seem undecided.
I love [name_f]Tressa[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] – [name_f]Tressa[/name_f] is more unique than [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] and [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] is a color rather than an homage to [name_u]Vivien[/name_u] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u]'s bratty heroine.

I think the “red” idea is brilliant so how about [name_f]Crimson[/name_f], Cardinal, [name_u]Carmine[/name_u]? Or maybe after a red wine? [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] Merlot? [name_f]Happy[/name_f] Hunting!
