Hmm…interesting post! Let’s see:
[name]Ashley[/name] – This is feels '80s/'90s to me (though it doesn’t seem to have dropped much!). That era contains some of my favorite names. I would replace [name]Ashley[/name] with [name]Jamie[/name], hands down. Other considerations would be [name]Katie[/name], [name]Alana[/name], or the more recent [name]Ainsley[/name] and [name]Delaney[/name].
[name]Ava[/name] – This is a very popular, frilly name to me. I would replace it with [name]Isabella[/name]. In the end, I personally would use neither, as the popularity would strike both beautiful options off my list. If I wanted a name with a frilly feel, I would go with [name]Alyssa[/name].
[name]Emma[/name] – The soft vowels, nicknamey feel, and double middle letters bring to mind many of my favorite names: [name]Cilla[/name], [name]Nella[/name], Chella, [name]Minna[/name], [name]Essa[/name], [name]Essie[/name], [name]Eppie[/name], [name]Britta[/name], [name]Rissa[/name], Tassie, [name]Nellie[/name], [name]Sally[/name].
[name]Isabella[/name] – Lol. I swapped [name]Ava[/name] out with this one. Now I have to swap this one out? I’ll go with [name]Ava[/name].
[name]Jasmine[/name] – [name]Kira[/name]. I once heard that [name]Kira[/name] was of Persian origin (though now I am finding different information), and as a teen I liked the Persian combo of [name]Jasmine[/name] [name]Kira[/name]. I would also consider swapping this out with the Arabic name [name]Kinza[/name].
[name]Natalie[/name] – [name]Natasha[/name]. [name]Tasha[/name], [name]Pasha[/name], [name]Sasha[/name].
