I’ve FINALLY accepted the fact that my number one name, [name]Stella[/name], will simply NOT work with my last name. [name]Stella[/name] is therefore off my “to use” list and on to my “could never actually use” list. The problem, however, is that she needs to be replaced! My second favorite girl name right now is [name]Julie[/name], but [name]Julie[/name] does not have the same appeal to me that [name]Stella[/name] did. Neither does [name]Heather[/name], [name]Leah[/name] or [name]Paige[/name]. [name]Bridget[/name] would probably my next best option, if my sister-in-law was not planning on using it.
So, what are your suggestions as a replacement for [name]Stella[/name]? Middle name will be [name]Claire[/name] if she’s the first girl. [name]Soleil[/name] if it’s the second. Thank you!
Sorry. Should have mentioned that ANY -la names won’t work, and the majority of names starting with “L” as well. Excluding those options the rest are not really my style.
Joviejane, meaning is not important to me. Sound is. [name]Nina[/name] is my favorite of your suggestions
I got most of those suggestions by putting the names you mentioned into Nymbler (nymbler.com), which is an awesome resource if you haven’t already checked it out.
Since you like [name]Nina[/name], what about [name]Nona[/name]? I read on a blog somewhere about a little girl being named [name]Nona[/name] [name]Plum[/name] and I thought it was really sweet. I know you said probably no L names, but here are some anyway haha, just in case some work - [name]Lucy[/name], [name]Lily[/name], [name]Lillian[/name]/[name]Liliana[/name], [name]Louise[/name], [name]Lena[/name], [name]Lydia[/name], [name]Louisa[/name], [name]Laurel[/name].
What do you think of [name]Seren[/name]? It also means star. I don’t know if it’s exactly your style, but I think it’s so beautiful. I would also suggest [name]Alina[/name]. Sounds like [name]Nina[/name], which you mentioned you liked, and I think [name]Alina[/name] [name]Claire[/name] is stunning.
Okay, um, I trying to match the style of names in your signature. The good thing is I love every single name in your signature. (unfortunately some are taken by family for me ) The bad side, my naming style is all over the place.
