Reply with quote?

When I use the “reply with quote” option below a post I get a plain text copy of the pp, starting with “[QUOTE= …” rather than the funky little blue speech bubble that other people have with their selected quote inside.

I think I must be missing something obvious, or there is some setting I need to change?

You probably accidentally deleted one of the characters in the tag before posting, which will prevent the quote from appearing properly.

Well, it wasn’t that, but it seems to be working now & am not doing anything different. Thanks for replying
