It’s a name that I could imagine getting pronounced incorrectly a lot. It also makes me think of the word revile which is pretty negative. Maybe you would like [name]Reverie[/name]? I think it feels more familiar, but it’s still a pretty unusual word name that easily nicknames [name]Evie[/name], Ev, Revie, Revi, [name]Reeva[/name], [name]Vera[/name], ect.
I automatically said that in French in my head - oops. Very different sound. If I’m right that’s the trumpet call in the morning they usually do at camp and stuff. It’s a little…random to me. I suppose it could work, but it’s hard for me to see as a name.
[name]Reverie[/name] is pretty, but it’s too r heavy for me. As a child I made my r’s into w’s and I can’t imagine a poor child with the same problem trying to pronounce [name]Reverie[/name].
This was the name of my college newspaper so I associate it a little too closely with that. I like [name]Reverie[/name] though.

I’ve never heard of ‘reveille’ being pronounced the way you have it. Confusing, for me. Is that a normal pronunciation in English? Where I live, a lot of French words are defaulted to French pronunciations.
What about Remei instead? It’s the Catalan form of Remedios and is pronounced like “reh-MEH” (like [name]Ren[/name]ée, with an M instead of an N; Pronunciations for remei (from Remei Margarit to Santa Maria del Remei de Les Corts)) It’s a little more intuitive than Reveille is, I think, but maybe that’s just me?

If you want “rev-uh-lee” I wouldn’t spell it that way because it’ll look like you used a French name and had no clue how to pronounce it. Why not Revelie or Revelly?

I immediately connected to to “revile.” I’m not a French speaker, so I wasn’t entirely sure how to pronounce it, but I did recognize it’s similarity to the name [name]Mireille[/name], which is pronounced “meer-AY”, so that was my best guess. The meaning is cool, but I don’t think it’s advisable. I was initially turned off by it’s similarity to “revile”, which I think is pretty strong and unavoidable, and now this confusion about pronunciation in the comments seems to be even more reason not to use it. I like the suggestion of Remei.
The US military pronounces it rev-uh-lee the way you do. I don’t speak French but I was in the service once.

Rev-vay is also a pretty pronunciation, but the actual English word is pronounced reh-vuh-lee, see dictionary.com.As stripedsocks says it’s used mainly to identify a military morning bugle call.

lol, I can see that. I went to a camp where we had reveille followed by the most irritating song ever to tumble from a synthesizer, so I understand the annoyance. But then I’m also a morning person who jumps out of bed singing at 6am with no alarm, lol

[name]Just[/name] to point out, there’s not an “English word” Reveille. It’s a French word, but yes in English they pronunciation has been changed. Reveille is French for wake up. Thus the morning call to wake people up was called reveille - but the English have a history of changing French pronunciations.
Like I said though, I just associate that work with camp wake up calls. Like a pp poster mentioned, that wake up call is usually not associate with joy!
