What are your opinions on [name_f]Reverie/name_f [name_u]Poet[/name_u] and [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] [name_f]Sonnet[/name_f]?
Although the names are not my style, I think they work together beautifully in a sibset.
They’re a bit too fanciful for my taste. I do like [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] though.
[name_f]Reverie[/name_f] “Rehv-eh-rie” [name_u]Poet[/name_u] was very fanciful until I see the pronunciation. Is [name_f]Reverie[/name_f] truly two syllables?
[name_f]Reverie[/name_f] is usually pronounced Rehv-eh-rie but I heard it pronounced as Rehv-ree and I liked it better.
[name_f]Reverie[/name_f] is a fantastic word name that I hadn’t heard of before! I would also pronounce it REV-eh-ree.
[name_f]Mercy[/name_f] is beautiful too.
I’m personally not a fan though of combining them with these matchy, and also word middle names. I would combine them with other name styles. Too many word names can make an otherwise great name look silly…
Well, I could use Rehv-eh-ri as an official pronunciation and use Rehv-ree as a nickname. Maybe
I like [name_f]Reverie[/name_f], [name_u]Poet[/name_u], and [name_f]Sonnet[/name_f] but not in these combos. [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] is too Puritan for me. Together, these names seem like you’re trying too hard to be unique. Using two word names together can often end up seeming weird rather than cool. I’ve never seen [name_f]Reverie[/name_f] pronounced with 2 syllables so it sounds awkward to me that way. I love Rev or Revvy as a nickname though!
They’re both a bit insubstantial I find. Especially [name_f]Reverie[/name_f] [name_u]Poet[/name_u] doesn’t sound like a real person but more like an ideal, a dream child or tarot card reader.
[name_f]Mercy[/name_f] [name_f]Sonnet[/name_f] sounds very religious to me, it makes me think of bible verses.
I love [name_f]Reverie[/name_f] [name_u]Poet[/name_u]!! Great choice
But in really hate the name [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] for a child and especially a girl…Maybe a puppy or if you must i think it is better as a boy name
[name_f]Reverie[/name_f] [name_u]Poet[/name_u] is beautiful! I normally dont really like [name_f]Reverie[/name_f] as a name, but it sounds really nice with [name_u]Poet[/name_u]. I would pronounce it with three syllables, though.
I’m not a big fan of [name_f]Mercy[/name_f]. I do like [name_f]Sonnet[/name_f] as a middle name, though!
I’d hesitate over using two word names together, but I do enjoy the middles and how they link.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] them!!! Very fairy-tale fantasy, but what’s wrong with that?
