[name]Ive[/name] narrowed my list down a bit and was wanting middle name recommendations or other fn’s along the same style. Our last name begins with R.
[name]Ramona[/name] is my all-time favorite girl name! I just have to get my husband to love it!
Similar to [name]June[/name], what about [name]Junia[/name] or [name]Juniper[/name] (love it and nn [name]Juni[/name])
[name]Sutton[/name] is a cool middle name!
Some other ideas that I think go with your other awesomely named kiddos:
[name]Imogen[/name]
[name]Agnes[/name]
[name]Willa[/name]
[name]Genevieve[/name]
[name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Henrietta[/name]
[name]Dolores[/name]
I can’t get over how much I love [name]Eloise[/name] and [name]Beatrix[/name] together in the same sibset! I think [name]Theodora[/name] would work best, but I also love [name]Rosamund[/name].
[name]Eloise[/name], [name]Beatrix[/name], and [name]Foster[/name] is a gorgeous sibset! I love [name]Harriet[/name], [name]Ramona[/name], and [name]Maxine[/name]–all beautiful, classic choices that nicely complement your other children’s names. [name]Rosamund[/name] would also work well.
As far as other first names are concerned, I would suggest:
Hmm…
[name]Ottilie[/name] [name]Maxine[/name] - I’m not keen on [name]Ottilie[/name] I like [name]Ottoline[/name] but I find this name slightly off peak. However the name does work well with [name]Maxine[/name].
[name]Ottoline[/name] [name]June[/name] - I love this choice, I like [name]Ottoline[/name] is very spunky and the ending just works. [name]June[/name] works beautifully with [name]Ottoline[/name].
[name]Harriet[/name] [name]Maxine[/name] - [name]Harriet[/name] is such a classy choice, she’s grown on me so much. Yet I dislike with [name]Maxine[/name] the two names have a strange flow.
[name]Harriet[/name] [name]Sutton[/name] - I think [name]Harriet[/name] is great obviously and I love [name]Harriet[/name] with the boyish trendy [name]Sutton[/name]. Great combination!
[name]Guinevere[/name] [name]Maxine[/name] - [name]Lovely[/name] combination [name]Guinevere[/name] is very majestic and pretty. I also think [name]Maxine[/name] works nicely with [name]Guinevere[/name]! Good choice.
Yet I wonder whether [name]Guinevere[/name] is too long and looks out of place with [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Beatrix[/name] and [name]Foster[/name].
[name]Theodora[/name] [name]June[/name] - I adore [name]Theodora[/name] she has this rural folk sounding charm. [name]Theodora[/name] looks elegant and works lovingly with [name]June[/name]. Great combination yet I do feel that [name]Theodora[/name] is far too long for [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Beatrix[/name] and [name]Foster[/name].
[name]Ramona[/name] - I’m unsure on [name]Ramona[/name] sometimes I adore this choice I love her cheerfulness. On the other hand I dislike the ‘[name]Mona[/name]’ part of the name as it reminds me of the unfavourable trait of moaning. I must prefer [name]Romina[/name]. Which I think works with [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Beatrix[/name] & [name]Foster[/name].
[name]Maxine[/name] - Isn’t a favourite of mine. I think [name]Maxine[/name] sounds slightly 90s. Not my thing.
[name]Agatha[/name] - She has a very vintage feel. I like the nickname [name]Aggie[/name] as well, I also think [name]Agatha[/name] works well with [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Beatrix[/name] & [name]Foster[/name].
[name]Araminta[/name] - I love this choice, she feels very fresh and minty. [name]Araminta[/name] is really sweet and spunky. Yet I don’t think she works with [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Beatrix[/name] & [name]Foster[/name] the name just doesn’t have the same feel. Their too different in style.
[name]Rosamund[/name] - I love this choice, she’s so fresh and elegant. Very humble and sounds perfect with [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Beatrix[/name] & [name]Foster[/name].
[name]Romilly[/name] - I dislike this choice, too me [name]Romilly[/name] feels strange.
I love the [name]Theodora[/name] [name]June[/name] combo but I find [name]Theodora[/name] with [name]Beatrix[/name] a little too simialr ([name]Bee[/name] and Thee sounds). [name]Ottilie[/name] and [name]Ottoline[/name] are strangely similar to [name]Eloise[/name] and [name]Beatrix[/name] to my ears! I love these choices from your list with the older children’s names.
Thank you for so much feedback! It’s so helpful to have others input when brainstorming. I think I do prefer [name]Ottoline[/name] rather than [name]Ottilie[/name]. [name]Ottilie[/name] seems a bit too similar to [name]Eloise[/name].
Of my fn list my husband likes these the most:
[name]Ottoline[/name]
[name]Theodora[/name]
[name]Agatha[/name]
I still love:
[name]Harriet[/name] (long time obsession of mine)
[name]Guinevere[/name]
[name]Rosamund[/name]
[name]Ramona[/name]
[name]June[/name] [name]Maxine[/name] was my grandmothers name, so I would like to use it if it fits. But none of the other children have family names, so it’s not a must.
I think [name]Rosamund[/name] and [name]Harriet[/name] from your list go best with your existing children (who have beautiful names, by the way!) Of your husband’s picks I think [name]Theodora[/name] is the better option.
I think [name]Rosamund[/name] [name]June[/name] and [name]Harriet[/name] [name]June[/name] both sound lovely.
I like [name]Harriet[/name] [name]Sutton[/name] with your existing children. [name]Sutton[/name], like [name]Foster[/name], feels a little surname-y and more modern to me, so I like that they have that connection. And [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Beatrix[/name], and [name]Harriet[/name] sound like they would make great sister-heroines in a children’s book.
I kicked around [name]Theodora[/name], [name]Ramona[/name], [name]Agatha[/name], and [name]Romilly[/name] as well when I was choosing my [name]Beatrix[/name]'s name, so I clearly also enjoy those choices. But [name]Harriet[/name] just feels like it fits.
[name]Maxine[/name] [name]Amelia[/name]
[name]Maxine[/name] [name]Vienna[/name]
[name]Maxine[/name] [name]Amelie[/name]
[name]Maxine[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name] - though too close to [name]Beatrix[/name]
[name]Maxine[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name]
