I really like both names. Only worry is I want a name that travels well into adulthood. After all we are adults longer than we are children.
What do you think of [name_u]Rex[/name_u] and [name_m]Wolf[/name_m]? Which one takes the edge for you.

What do you think of [name_u]Rex[/name_u] and [name_m]Wolf[/name_m]? Which one takes the edge for you.
I adore [name_u]Rex[/name_u]! I’d probably only use it as a middle name or a nickname but I think it’s so handsome. [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] is pretty cool too.
I really like both options, and I don’t think traveling to adulthood will be an issue with either: There are plenty of people named [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] and [name_u]Rex[/name_u] that I can think of off the top of my head, from literature to current events, and they’re all adults. Both names are strong and to-the-point, which I love. However, that said, I might give the edge to [name_m]Wolf[/name_m]. It’s one of the fiercest names out there, and remains an unexpected yet accessible pick.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] both, prefer [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] a bit more! A very handsome choice. I find both of them to work well in adulthood.
I prefer [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] as a middle name. I could imagine it on an adult, but it’s easier to imagine fun and cozy [name_u]Rex[/name_u] on a teenager or grown man!
I feel like [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] makes more sense to me as an adult. You could also do Wolfrum/Wolfram as a more “distinguished”/“serious” full name with [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] as a nickname.
I too really like both. Taking your criteria into account, my vote would go to [name_u]Rex[/name_u]. It feels more timeless, established and complete as a full name for a lifetime to me.
I like both, but prefer [name_m]Wolf[/name_m]. I also like [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] as a nickname for [name_m]Wolfgang[/name_m].
I prefer [name_u]Rex[/name_u], I think it will age better than [name_m]Wolf[/name_m].
I love [name_m]Wolf[/name_m]. Maybe it’s a local thing but with [name_u]Rex[/name_u], my mind always goes straight to dog.
[name_m]Wolf[/name_m] is a guilty pleasure name for me. I like it as a nickname for [name_m]Wolfgang[/name_m] or Wulfric if you want a longer form.
[name_u]Rex[/name_u], to me, is all dinosaurs (T. [name_u]Rex[/name_u]) and dogs. It’s my cousin’s middle name and I always felt sorry for him.
I like [name_u]Rex[/name_u] for the retro cool vibe.
I think [name_u]Rex[/name_u] is a great middle as it’s one syllable (but then I guess so is [name_m]Wolf[/name_m]), and whilst I really like [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] as a first name, I do think that it perhaps wouldn’t age that well.
However, in twenty years from now, there will be adult [name_f]Poppy[/name_f]'s, and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u]'s. So who’s to say [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] won’t fit in.
I looove [name_u]Rex[/name_u]. It’s playful on a child but I can also picture it on a grown man. I do like [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] too actually, but [name_u]Rex[/name_u] has more quirk.
